    Barring some sort of Hugh Freeze situation, there's a 0% chance that Moos s#!t cans Riley before the Iowa game. While this whole very public bickering between our current DC and former DC is stupidly embarrassing, it's not exactly cause for termination. This team will finish 5-7 or 4-8 and there will be a press conference on November 25th.

    Christian LaCouture needs an asterisk. He transferred to Nebraska for his senior season and was, at one point, a Husker commit.

    Why the f#*k would we give Riley one more year to keep is 31st ranked recruiting class intact? There's this misconception that Mike Riley and co. are killing it on the recruiting trail. He's doing an adequate job. Hot take: if anyone deserved another year based on keeping a recruiting class together, it was Callahan.

    The part that struck me as the "fate sealed" moment is whenever Moos dives into the specifics of what he looks for when hiring a coach and then says, "if we do go about making changes in whatever sport here..."

    After watching the press conference, I think there's little doubt about Riley's future. He's gone.
