  1. Mavric beat me to it. I couldn't remember if JUCOs started just in the summer or before but you said it starts in the summer, right? Yeah, I believe jucos start in the summer. High school kids can take OVs following the first day of classes their senior year only.

  3. wifi? Haha NO WIFI is all over the subscription rivals board. He is the guy that everyone looks for the information from. Gotta say he actually does a really good job, but I find it kinda sad how consumed he his by recruiting. He has done a solid job over there and people love it. I will say, he is just starting to do what got him laughed out of here. Starting threads with "here's what I'm going to do in this thread..." and making crazy claims that hold little weight. I haven't seen many full on copies of other people's posts just yet. He was really annoying here but sure does his research.
  4. That watch site in Wrigleyville is awesome. My dad's birthday is in mid September, and instead of going to Lincoln for one of the non-cons we made the trip to Chicago and spent the weekend watching the Cubs lose to the Cardinals. On the way to the Saturday game we saw a bar just a few blocks from Wrigley that had a Husker sign out front, we stopped by there (just minutes into the 1st QTR) and couldn't find a seat. Luckily a table became available and we were able to watch the rest of the game there. Almost everyone was wearing Husker shirts or Jerseys (my table was decked out in Cubbie blue). They had plastic Husker mugs for the beer (I took home several). They played the fight song after TD's (This was the game we put up ~70). Great time. Hope I get to go there again this year, but for an away game instead of a missed home game. Nice. Glad you enjoyed. Honestly, all the watch sites (bars) in Chicago are amazing....for most college teams. Each bar picks a college affiliation, get mugs, has a DJ play fight songs, etc. Before it was available in Chicago, The Crossing and Kincades used to go get Boulevard Wheat from KC for Jayhawk games. The Chicago branch of the NU alumni association even brings in a past player to one of the bars (Kirkwood last time I believe) maybe once a season. Chicago is an amazing sports city.
  5. I'm about 50/50 between watch sites and home here in Chicago. Kirkwood for most games but just moved and the one in Wrigley is a little closer. FYI, McGee's changed to Ohio State about 8 years ago. I also just got AT&T Uverse (which has been amazing so far) with the wireless receiver. Means I can put a TV on my roof top for games. Tough to beat during the summer/early fall.
  6. Not ready to call it a concern but taking 4 CBs this year is a must.
  7. Got to think someone's already put Charlie's face on that gif and is waiting patiently.
  8. Kenny Bell tripped on the turf. The DB wasn't even looking at the ball (check the endzone camera angle). The ball bounced off Kenny's hand and almost physically stuck itself to the DB's chest. I believe that was his first pick of the season, and his first career pick-six. It was sheer, utter dumb luck. Very true and I mentioned it. Taylor had little to do with the pick 6. Just an incredibly unlucky play. I don't really feel the need to keep this convo going. Taylor is a heck of a QB. I'm just not ready to put him in the best ever argument yet. No big deal.
  9. A lone DT doesn't win championships but the greatest QB in the history better eff'n do so. How is it possible you are trying to compare the two? You've got to be joking right?!?! That 7 by their defense a pick 6 by Taylor aka "arguably the best QB in Nebraska history" on our first offensive play of the game. Now I don't fully put that on Taylor, KBell could have caught it, knocked it down, whatever. To the point of QB vs DT, can you honestly say to yourself that a DT has just as much effect on championship as a QB over the course of a season? Just want to make it very clear this is what you believe.
  10. Just for arguments sake (and since your entire stance seems to be on Taylor's stats), let's take a look Suh's and Taylor's stats in championship games. Ndumakong Suh Big 12 championship - 12 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks. Taylor Martinez Big 12 championship - 12 of 24, 143 yards, 0 TDs, 1 incerception, - 32 rushing yards (that's negative), 0 TDs, 1 fumble (3 other fumbles recovered by Neb) Big 10 Championship - 17 of 33, 184 yards, 0 TDs, 2 interceptions, 140 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 1 fumble (1 other fumble recovered by Neb) Notice a difference? One had one of the greatest games statistically from his position ever. For the record, I like Taylor and think he's a heck of a QB. But, to announce him as the greatest QB in Nebraska history is ludicrous.
  11. What I actually said was that he doesn't have a compelling argument as greatest quarterback in school history if he doesn't win a championship. They're very different. Yes, he does have a compelling argument. Does Suh not have a compelling argument as the greatest DT in school history? He won no championships. A lone DT doesn't win championships but the greatest QB in the history better eff'n do so. How is it possible you are trying to compare the two? You've got to be joking right?!?!
  12. SIT DOWN! Every time I see "wifi" my mind goes in multiple directions. One man (woman or child) ruined the recruiting board and wireless interlinking.
  13. That game (and series) was totally worth my pounding headache at the office right now. Chicago was nuts last night.

Lyons, I thought the exact same after I saw the screens of it. Looks just like android.

  16. love this gif. might be even better in reverse ha
  17. Exactly. We had no one at tackle when Moore got plugged in. Moore was also the first true freshman ever to start the first game of the year at Nebraska. Obviously, it's very rare.
  18. Great, now I'm going to have nightmares about that creepy child Haha i grabbed another one with a caption (thinking it would be better) cause it was freaking me out too. On second thought, I've never seen GSG complain about a gif. Might have to be in the regular rotation now. GSG---->

  20. I definitely agree. I would prefer us take them and let people bitch about being low rated. I really hate when I see a Nebraska kid excelling somewhere else when we decided not to offer. But, I guess we need to trust Bo and co. Also I am in no way saying I don't want these kids to be successful I am just selfish when it comes to Nebraska Athletics To make it even tougher, this will be a smaller than usual class. If Bo could take a 25 kid class, I feel Kenzo definitely gets the offer.
