If the royals were to ever sign someone for 18 mil a year for 8 years, there is no one else I would want. 

As a Royals fan I know that this ride is over. I think it was over when moose and Gordon collided in June-ish of 2016 and it was for sure over when Wade Davis was traded. It was a great 5 years(2011-2016).  It’s the bleak side of loving a small market team. 

But no, hoz really isn’t worth that money. No power
