    Anyone really familiar with KC?  My wife, kids (age 8) and I are staying at "The Plaza" area over New Years.  Is there anything to do besides shop and swim at the hotel, the weather is supposed to be cold!  Any ideas or suggestions?

      All these are great ideas.  My choice for BBQ is JackStack.  I always go to the original store on 135th in Martin City, a few miles east of State Line.  That would be quite a ways from where you are staying but the smells in that 50+ year old building are incredible.  You feel like you are inside the smoker.

      My suggestion would be, take a vacation to Southern Florida. :D

      Go eat breakfast at eggtc one morning.  You might have a little wait but it is well worth it.
