  1. when i first saw the title of this thread i thought it said Fattest players of 08 and i about shouted Mangino but then i remembered he is a coach and that you are talking about fastest players thus Mangino fits neither
  2. I heard he was spending a lot of his time moving electronics for Kenny Wilson and being the designated driver for Hunter Teafatiller. There is still alot of rumor and speculation as to what he was doing for Cody Glenn... Hopefully it entails keeping him away from our boosters 16 year old daughters then. This kid eats 16 year olds whole when he gets hungry and opposing offenses when when he is angry here's hoping we see him next year
  3. i've always wanted lil' red to be our team captain but i don't think Bo would like that .....
  4. its down to Jerry Murtaugh Mike Rozier and Eric Crouch, i'm from Goodland and i like most other Husker fans i love Brook Berringer but i grew up with Crouch heard stories of Rozier and admired Murtaugh.
  5. Florida Atlantic: 38-13 Schnellenberger is a hell of a ball coach but he has limited talent on the roster Arkansas St: 45-10 see above but subtract Schnellenberger @ Va. Tech: 21-17 a close defensive matchup with Pelini and Bud Foster fuming on the sidelines with frank Beamer looking lost as usual. Louisiana-Lafayette: 55-7 see Florida Atlantic and Arkansas St. @ Missouri: 44-27 They lose everybody and they will struggle Texas Tech: 38-31 despite losing Harrell and Crabtree the offense is potent but Texas' lack of Defense costs them the game Iowa State: 57-14 Iowa St. continues to own the celler spot in the north @ Baylor: 38-17 This score is based off weither the huskers we saw in the second half of this past years game play all four quarters Oklahoma: 31-44 we lose this one but not many teams may beat OU next year anyway @ Kansas: 55-31 tough back and forth game lack of KU having a defense costs them the game in the second half Kansas State: 145-0 Bo exacts his revenge for 2003 @ Colorado: 45-21 Hawkins is carted off the field after Ralphie runs his @ss over as the buffaloe leads the team onto the field in the second half. Huskers make a nice showing in the Big XII title game but lose to OU so we finish 11-2 of course 9-4 or 10-3 is also not out of the question.
  6. i agree too i have never seen this website before and this writer is pretty good.
  7. How do you figure!?! KU's defense will be better with the return of Darrel Stuckey and leader in sacks Jake Laptad. I don't think they'll be great, but the D will be better. Far from a joke. we figure because mortensen and rivera are gone on top of the fact KU's defenses still wasn't good with those players playing.
  8. it's probably cuz all us husker fans went and voted for him lol
  9. we still refer to Alexander as the UPS guy.....idk why
  10. ok 2 thoughts where in the h*ll did this idiot play his college ball? baylor perhaps? no wait don't tell me DUKE!!! number two u did a good job pointing out this moron's flaws for a "former D-I ball player" this guy is just plain stupid.
  11. i wouldn't hype this kid up that much Pryor is an amazing athlete and to be honest Green is just great, (pryor 4.4 speed, and Green 4.6 maybe 4.5 on a good day) Green is by far the better passer though. but if we really want Green to be the next Turner Gill or Tommie Frazier we need to give him some time in our offense so i'm thinking we will see him on the field in around 2-3 years.
  12. 4. Bo’s first division title . After Nebraska coach Bo Pelini inserts Zac Lee into the starting lineup, the Cornhuskers catch fire and cruise to the North Division title in a tight race that features four teams that eventually make bowl trips — Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas and Missouri. The Cornhuskers don’t have enough firepower, however, to beat Texas. The Longhorns win their conference title since 2005 after a 38-24 triumph over the Cornhuskers to cruise to the BCS title game after a 12-1 season marred only by a loss at Oklahoma State WHAT?!?!?!?! now way out side chance at best dude of OSU beating TEXAS......other wise good article an i think we got a good chance win the north next year and i really think the KU NU game will decide who books their ticket to K.C. Colorado might but i'm not sold on them their best game was against us and we gave them alot of their points based off us getting a little lazy. mizzou i think will be .500 but not a contender they replace a ton of starters.
  13. hey guys with rivals or scout any news on this dude? on second thought any good news? lol
  14. The Jets already have interviewed offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, assistant head coach Bill Callahan and New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnulo. The Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J., reported on its website Sunday that the team was not overly impressed with Spagnuolo, who is a hot commodity this offseason. It was surprised by Spagnuolo's lack of preparation, the paper reported, citing an unnamed person "with knowledge of the club's thinking." The paper also said that Schottenheimer is the early favorite for the job. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
  15. i really think it's going to be Zach Lee he's a bit more mobile than Witt (and can hopefully hang on to the ball) Spano i think is a out side chance along with Cody Green, i like Green and he is enrolled in Classes for the winter semester at NU to get an early jump on our offense but but he's still a freshman and should be given a year, or even a red shirt maybe, to completely grasp everything we do on offense.
  16. What do you mean "get used to it"? It's not a cold pool Anyway, the defenses tackling started to shore up especially in the second half. Offensively, their pass rush was neutralized by running between the tackles and some off tackle. you can get used to a faster team, it take's a little bit because the players have to adjust what they are used to doing to match what the opponent is doing. Nebraska has speed it's just we where to used to playing KSU, ISU, CU, and Baylor teams that had none ( ok maybe a few players on CU's team did but only a handful)
  17. yea this Clemson team kinda has the Virginia tech problem of amzing D but mediocre O they get that O fixed and this team will be scary.
  18. I'm gonna go with Helu he came out of no where and helped our team reestablish the running game which lead to us being one of the best teams in the Nation in T.O.P category and the helps the defense by keeping them off the field and so on and so forth...
  19. yea i agree OU's defense was good, but it had holes at key positions that where caused mainly by injuries, Clemsons was a faster defense then OU that was really let down by it's offenses inability to hold onto the ball and move it, thus they where out there the alot.
  20. i agree hopefully 9-3 at the worst next season we got a few positions that are a little dim looking at the moment but i think some guys step up for us.
  21. you guys's may love the 95 huskers and i do too but for some extremely odd reason i'm still a huge fan of bob Deveny's early 70's husker teams with glover and Murtaugh on D and Johhny the Jet burning anybody who tried to cover him. those teams dominated and set the tone for the entire program.
  22. who could blame harper he's had a shaky at best o-line in front of him all year.
  23. he's our version of your guy's Dequan Bowers, both dominate
