  1. he stay's, the way he played this past season sets him up good for next year of course he will take alot of double teams but he proved he can destroy those this year. if he stay's healthy he is a ligit mid 1'st rounder.
  2. excellent read the writer makes alot of good points.
  3. yea don't know if i would call him a stud **Cough Txas tech game costing pick** but i will say he has been an outstanding player for us.
  4. the experts, Herbstriet, corso, holtz ect. like nebraska. not the average Mizzou grad reporter who hates the fact that he or she has to report on us or do a story related to us. thus they dish on us in their stories/ reports. i have no problem with the experts, i have a problem with the reporters and journalists at ESPN who DO hate us and KU.
  5. try justintv.com it has college football on there and its worth a try
  6. if you want a in-state Nebraska rivalry game go watch UNK an UNO when they get together this years game wasn't much since UNO rolled over UNK but other wise that is our in-state game. i really think its a bad idea if we have another competing D-1 school in state because there isn't enough talent to support them both. and it would take away our walk-ons so I'm all against it.
  7. well our NC team in 95 (it's either 95 or 96) had 5 walk ons starting...... i like to believe its no the most highly ranked kid in the class that's gunna win the big games but the one with the biggest heart and desire to dominate. i mean heck Carriker was a 3 star but went 13th in the draft..... so as far as I'm concerned sign as many 3 and 4 stars or wat ever stars want Bo cuz when it comes down to it takes a good coach to mold and develop that talent and i think we are safe there.
  8. all things seem to poin to a commit i hope. i don't know if we are in the running for any five stars at this point zebop there was a couple 5's that we offered and recruited but are going elsewhere. but hey watch me eat my words hopefully after the gator bowl lol
  9. Eh last Guru said we would get Alex Logan and Gabe Lynn. Hopefully he is right That Guru gave the info right before we got pounded by OU. A drubbing that bad was bound to change a few minds. true but it's easy to write that loss off since it was onlt pelini's first year. yea that loss lost us gabe lynn but pelini and his guys can and have sold alot of kids with how his defense's played at LSU and nebraska so a SMART recruit will overlook that loss and look at how we played later on. i thinkwe got a good shot at this kid just because the other two programs are in flux with just ok D-coordinators..... that said Pelini and Nebraska look like the only good choice on his list that that gives him a chance at the next level.
  10. I guess you don't know a F**KING thing about scheduling, but if you come up with the $1,000,000 guarentee to get them and the $300,000 BUYOUT to get them out of their non-conference games that are already scheduled .... by all means HANDLE IT!!!!!!!! wow dude uncalled for the guy was just simply pointing out that these are the teams that maybe Bo should schedule in the future like in 2012 and 2013 where we sill have open slots.....u need to chill and not be such a @ss.
  11. yea screw ESPN they are a biased worthless peice of sh*t i don't even go there to get news anymore i either got to sporting news or rivals since they know and obey by the first media rule of "unbiased" reporting.
  12. i don't think you guy's have a chance with any of those coaches at this point except skip Holtz who i think would be a good fit for you guys he recruits and coaches extremely well and would have ISU at .500 in at least three seasons. ISU probably has a shot with those D-II school coaches but still if i was ISU i would pay Holtz what ever he demands and get him to start coaching ASAP.
  13. WWWHHHHOOOO!!!! this is a huge get congrats to rex and the coaches that recruited him!
  14. once again i'll point out that most of the people that work at ESPN are Mizzou grads or people who hold a nebraska bias. before there was this Tebow there was crouch who is STILL considered to be among the top ten dual threat QB's of all time. the fool who wrote this probably never watched Crouch play enough to understand his talent.

  16. i'm not gunna lie was screamin GO!!! GO!!!!! GO!!!!! i was happy for him and glad he got that defensive TD it ended the game beautifully. yea he coulda hit the ground but common there was just one little puss named hawkins in his way.....
  17. i like your humble out look of our season. i also agree with husker red callahan never developed his talent poor marlon lucky is a perfect example a great talent who never reached above mediocre just because he wasn't coached right. had maybe some different coaches taught him we might have been comparing him to some of our greats. my final out look is that i was just hoping for a winning year to start off the pelini era right and we got it so im a fairly happy sailor.
  18. ESPN is from what i understand produced and pretty much run by Mizzou grads, i got this info from some KU TV Grads that applied for a job there so of course ESPN is gunna be biased.
  19. yea the school record kick and Suh trampling Cody Hawkins makes the game the best since that 99 game in my opinion since the last several games were decided marginally.
  20. yea ricky had a nice quiet game, next year he could be a monster with the off season to study up the defense.
  21. when i saw he made the kick i screamed and hollered so loud that i scared my step mom's italian grey hound so bad that he sh*t in the corner......
  22. I hope we don't lose this kid if this rumor has any truth to it. we will need him next year after we lose Murillo.
  23. It wasn't that bad of a call, just really badly executed in my mind. By rule, with the kicker moving out of position to kick the ball, the holder had to have his knee off the ground - which he didn't. Play should have been blown dead at that point, whether it was successful or not. If it had worked, everyone would be slapping Bo and the players on the back saying how great it was, but since it turned into the disaster that it was, it kind of made him look like a goat. Yeah, Bo is stand up, and admitted that he called the play. If it would have been BC it would have been about how poorly the players executed the play, not about how he probably shouldn't have called that particular play at that time...and if it had worked, it would have been all about BC's genius game plan and how they saw something in film...etc. I think it also shows that the NCAA needs to seriously look at how the rules are being defined...either they are rules or their not. I didn't like the response given to ABC's commentators when they asked the officials or the NCAA about the "loose interpretation" that they allowed in one conferences officiating over another. The rules should be the same for everyone...and by the book. Bo should have thrown the flag on that play and made them review it (knowing the rule of course) realizing that the holder still had his knee down on the ground. That touchdown by CU would have been reversed and called dead at that spot the holder got the ball. I don't know if Bo didn't see his knee was still down, didn't know the rule, or was just silenced by the official. The officiating this year has really sucked. Too many missed calls in just about every game played. Video review was supposed to take care of some of this...but I am beginning to think you should be able to challenge a lot more of their calls such as penalties or a no call that is obvious to everyone in the stadium except the officiating crew for some reason...like the personal foul against Ganz on the sack. How the official is standing right there and missed that one is beyond me. It's like you're inside my head! Get out, it's scary in there. damn its dark in here...everything echoes, too!! lol that's some funny sh*t

    KU Over MU

yea it was a good game by KU and with that win establishes them selves as a legit threat in the north next year along with the huskers if we find a QB. Alot of people think Mizzou will still be in it but i am a lil doubtful since they are losing so many starters. oh by the way JGS30 you guys beat a Mizzou team that had no heart left and no fight in them, after the back to back loses and the overall beating texas layed on them that team hasn't been the same since. The huskers that played the last few weeks would have beat them too, probably along with baylor and alot of other mediocre teams. so cool your crap until u guy's win the hardware we have.
