  1. To be fair, we beat Michigan and Ohio State with their backup QBs in the game. I realize it's part of the game, but those injuries really turned the tide in our favor.
  2. I have done nothing but rip on this kid since he started his career at Nebraska. I never thought he was fit to be a D1 LB. With that being said, I feel like I should be the first to point out that he is playing his tail off tonight. This is easily the best game of his career, on a pretty big stage no less. Props to him.
  3. Bellomy = Bauserman 2.0

Is Bellomy going to complete a pass tonight?

  4. The Bears' perspective on the hit: “I was outside the pocket. It's football," Cutler said." I thought I was gone and then he got a hold of me. At that point, I knew it wasn't going to end well.” http://www.cbssports...h-hit-on-cutler
  5. Dennard just picked off Sanchize.

  6. Niles Paul just wrecked the Vikings punt returner.

  7. The 'Skers will rise again!

  8. Got way too drunk, passed out and missed the 2nd half. Anyone know if/when BTN will replay the game?

Could you blame me after that 1st half?

Cant blame you, no. But it's probably safe to say that passing out at halftime has more to do with what was drunken BEFORE the game. Haha.

Morality Police? Says the one screen name "Shawn Watson" (vomits).

  9. THIS. No disrespect to the kid, but Fisher is probably our worst LB that gets playing time.
  10. As awful as Michigan has played (mainly Denard), they are only down 10 and definitely still in the game.

  11. Heard has an extra gear.....a Reggie Bush gear. His running style has always reminded me of Reggie Bush. The way he seems to effortlessly glide and accelerate quickly, even the way he holds the ball.
  12. It's not running up the score when it's your 4th string running back...

  13. Really irks me that we underutilized Eric Martin so much in the past.

He's not that good in run defense. He's just an animal coming off the edge in obvious passing downs.

  14. Something to the effect of how can Bo ask for toughness out of his team when he leaves the field in an ambulance over an upset stomach.
  15. I REALLY want one, but since I'm a current Verizon customer, I have no way to get a discount on the phone. I need 64 gb so it can replace my iPod and that will run me $849.
  16. Per Brian Christopherson (Husker Extra): Bo has confirmed that Rome is no longer with the team and "for the foreseeable future"

  17. Santos, Rose, Z Anderson, etc. You have no clue whether these guys are any good or not. I hope you are right, but there is zero evidence that you are. This time last year everyone wanted Brion Carnes. When there are struggles, the Back ups are always the most popular. That may be true, but I find it hard to believe that our defensive effort could get much worse. Maybe these guys on the bench are hungry, desperate for an opportunity to prove themselves. Not complacent and lackluster like some of the current starters.
  18. Worst. Refs. Ever. (Packers/49ers game)

  19. Why does Bo insist on starting the players that know the defensive system best over players that are more athletic but have less knowledge? I'm glad a player knows where he and the other 10 players are supposed to be on a given play, but it's worthless when said player(s) never makes the play. Put the best athletes on the field and let them play football. A prime example: Lavonte's first year. Bo continuously said that Lavonte didn't know the playbook very well and he was constantly out of position. How did that work out for us? Pretty darn well. All he did was make plays all over the field because he was a heck of an athlete. Bo needs to wake up and realize that athleticism can trump playbook knowledge. Especially when said knowledgeable starters give up 648 yards. I believe we have better defensive talent riding the bench because they can't grasp the system. Put them in the game and see what happens.
  20. I'm not buying it. How is it a sellout if not every seat is filled? This is a bogus streak.
  21. Cross is a beast. Not very fast, but he's a patient runner and he always falls forward to get positive yardage. Abdullah looks like he has put some size on and doesn't appear to have lost a step. Seems like he's shifting into more of an all-purpose type back as opposed to a speed/change of pace back. Heard looked pretty good in limited duty. Our offense is absolutely loaded. So many weapons, it's unreal.
