I don't know about "WE" because we don't have a thing to do with it. bc burned more redshirts than those two guys. Yeah "WE" It's our state University. "WE" pay taxes, "WE" buy tickets to the games, "WE" donate to the facilities. "WE" the fan base makes our school one of the best in the country.

1999 K-state in Lincoln. This was a great game in that K-state had beat us the year before (for the first time in how many years) and on the way out of Manhattan they had the sign - losers go home. 1999 we came back and showed our dominance once again.

I'm sure there can always be organization improvements. Everyone will always have their own opinion. I'm rather new to this board but have been very impressed with its ease of use and readability. I only read the football and football recruiting boards. I do check the new posts sometimes. Anyway - just wanted to give my thumbs up to how this board is managed. Excellent work boys. Very appreciated.

this makes no sense Makes perfect sense, if I am right he is saying they change his grades or something like that dude when i was in high school that never worked, not for anyone...im all fine for him qualifying and such, i mean come on what are the chances a teacher passes him because hes a great football player? Hopefully he earns it. If he cannot then we'll see him in a year or so. I think they'll figure something out (on the up and up). I'm sure they'll give him every chance possible to make it thru.

uh skewed? welcome to online polls... or most polls for that matter.. sure maybe this is MORE skewed than usual, but very few polls dealing with sports have a "random and representative" sample It's too bad they take a fairly objective ranking and discount it with this poll. Don't get me wrong - I voted many times too (Nebraska owns fan polls!!!).

The coaches are saying they can compete for a job. That doesn't mean they're going to play or burn a redshirt. I'm guessing they will get a chance to earn a position. Once they've given it their all the coaches will sit down to discuss what is best for the player and for the team.

Voted for Rozier. Close second was A.Green. The best IB at NU was LP but I could not get myself to vote for such a waste of talent.

If they redshirt we probably would not have seen Glenn move to linebacker. That was one of the more impressive moves I've seen.

Gotta think it will be close to a sellout. Interesting move having all the seats be reserved. Wonder what kind of prices the spring game tickets will go for on ebay this year - last year I remember seeing them going for over $100. To watch a practice. Gotta love husker nation.

Schlesinger - the guy was a great blocker and he could pound that ball. Burned into memory is when he scored the first of 2 touchdowns in the Miami game and just rolled the ball off his helmet. Proving that players really can act like they've been there.

OK, I voted. Put NU#1 of course but had to put Clemson #2.

We did get weaker on Defense and offense last year, and we will recover some back. Remember these 3 changes Play OU, drop Okie State (Loss to what was a win) Play UT, drop A&M (Loss to what was a win) Play Texas Tech, drop Baylor (Loss to what was a win) Our team did lose some ground with some key talents leaving and being replaced by Freshamn, whihc is not really happening as much this year, but those schedule changes hurt our stats too. Not disagreeing our team was not as good, but our talent depth got better. Freshman just do not run right out and make an impact most of the time. It will get better again, for another year Mangino is delivering a little bit better team in projected overall talent, and we know he can coach up, and that will pay in the long run assuming the big man is healthy and our coach. Healthy? - I'm assuming you're referring to having a pulse because I'm sure anyone (except maybe Hurly from Lost) would consider him unhealthy. I've heard the McDonalds business w/in a 100 mile radius of the KU campus is hitting record sales. I don't mean to make fun of your coach but darn he makes it so easy.

If he doesn't make an impact this year on the d-line I wonder what the chances are that he'll be moved back to the oline? I know our depth is way better on the oline but if the kid is a natural o-lineman it would be too bad to waste his talents on the d.

The points seemed pretty fair and I'm guessing they didn't cheat us out of points (they know someone in huskerland will check their math on anyone ahead of us - you know who you are). Overall - probably one of the best program rankings that I've seen. Seems objective. #5 will turn to #4 here pretty quick with Bo at the helm.

He's not a true rookie. He did lead us to an Alamo bowl victory. IMO he should be #1. Why you ask? Because I'm biased and I like NU. Nuff said.

Even worse, try hearing him talk like this about South Carolina. He thinks that both ND & SC are great because he coached there. From what I understand Holtz is a pretty good guy. Just misguided. I thought announcers were supposed to be somewhat unbiased (or at least pretend to be).
