Does anybody know whether Aaron will be visiting for any games THIS season? It's very possible he'd make the trip. Maybe someone can do some digging and find out.

Keep in mind Sean is a lengthy 6'6". Height of a tackle. All I can say is though, if he's eating a 6500 calorie a day diet, someday his metabolism WILL catch up. He'd better cut down the diet real fast when it does .

I totally agreew swmo. Cmon guys... getting all these highly touted recruits is NOT going to like a magical band aid that automatically fixes our problems and allows us to compete with OU n Texas. We've had solid recruiting classes the last few years, and have NOT been that far off beating those teams with the kids we have (with the exceptions being OU the last two years). Remember how gosh dang close we were to beating Texas two years in a row? In 2006, all Terrence Nunn had to do was hold onto that last catch and we coulda wound the clock down. In even that woeful 07 campaign, they had NO IDEA what they were doing for the first three quarters. They tried to pass the whole game and wound up running (gashing us) only when McCoy got shaken up. We last by 2 and 3 in the respective games. In the big 12 championship, we only lost by 2 touchdowns... who know how differently that game ( or last years game, for that matter) if we hadn't spotted them a damn touchdown on the first play with a horribly called screen pass. Seriously though, we all love Wats but how many games have we started with that damn play? I like it. It gains yards, we just can't use it so predictably like that. And in 05, wwe only dropped the OU game by 7. My point... I think we CAN compete with both teams on the field, but NEED TO STOP SHOOTING OURSELVES IN THE FOOT and help ourselves. Furthermore, on recruiting, Bo's put together two solid, if unspectacular classes. We have yet to put together a top 25, but haven't fallen past the Top 30 mark. Bo and the entire staff, with the exception of maybe Ek and Pap, who have proven to be quite good recruiters, have been around. A while. They know what needs to be done recruiting wise. And they're being supervised by Dr. Tom, guys. Don't panic yet... they'll get it done, just like every other year.

Lol all I could think of when I saw the offer story on Scout about our offering this guy was... Well, thanks for trying to appease those who want us to work harder at recruiting (esp. high star guys), but it might just be too little, too late for him. Hopefully not. And you know this is true... every single person or sight that predicts KU will win the North points to the fact that their skill position players on offense are SOOO much better than ours. I just don't but it. QBs- Yes, Reesing has proven dependable and tough, with a hell of a lot of heart for somebody his size, but based on what we're hearing about Zach Lee, what we saw of him in the spring game, and his JUCO career (went to JUCO State Championship game at CCSF)... I honestly think Lee has the much higher ceiling and will be the far better QB. RBs- Jake Sharp is pretty good... He amassed 860 yards and 12 touchdowns last year, but honestly, with Helu and Q both hungry to tote the rock more than last year and split carries, You've got to think we trump KU in the RB department. They have no depth behind Sharp, with a sophomore and two freshman. Crawford got kicked off team and the third RB from last year, Angus Quigley, pulled a Cody Glenn and switched to LB. Freaking Mangino... hope OUR MOVE doesn't work for you! WRs- Alright, Dezmon Briscoe IS a stud. He is EVERYTHING they say he is... he's their best offensive weapon. But his status with the team is still unclear after being suspended, and Mangino even acknowledged that he has a few hurdles to clear to see his way back onto the field this year. Kerry Meier has played extremely well for a converted QB, putting together 97 receptions for 1045 yds and 8 touchdowns, but I feel the same way about him as I do Reesing... they're productive, but not as physically gifted as some of our unproven players. You've got to say, especially if they lose Briscoe, we own them here, too. Physically, at least... experience would probably go to them. TE, OL- Honestly, with our depth and talent at TE, we totally OWN whoever Kansas puts out there... I couldn't even find who played TE for them most of last season. Wasn't it a freshman from Nebraska, of all places? Our O Line has less depth than TE, but on the whole is more experienced and talented than their O line. Our D Line feast on their O Line... we'll probably hit them like a Suhnami. Don't even get me started defensively. They have one playmaker... Stuckey. They lost all three linebackers and didn't have a good D line to begin with. It's clear... we should own them this year.

Rivals says Luc cut his list to 9... I seriously doubt we made the cut, but does anyone know the list for sure?

He got cut from LSU, and transfered to Jax State.

Hopefully we're not picky to the point of striking out on all our plan A kids, and then having kids we'd v previously tunred away already found a home. Just sayin.

It's saying something that we can make the cut for an big time East coast recruit that's never even seen campus. Ego said that alot of our coaches being from LSU helps... much like Curtis Carter. He said he likes John Blake at N. Carolina because he's god fearing and honest.... SHOW HIM RON BROWN! Also, Ego already has 3 officials picked out: Oklahoma ( ), Notre Dame, and LSU... only two spots left.
