Yea I saw the beginning of the Gopher game and thought "oh wow, this is not what i expected." But they are bouncing back. Indiana's game looks good, but they need to improve on defense, that offense is good.

Brown basically said yesterday that Taylor wants to redshirt this year. The coaches respect that decision, but if there are injuries and Taylor is needed, the coaches will pull the redshirt and play him. So where the hell is the whole transfer thing coming from?

How did this develop? I heard yesterday afternoon that Ron Brown said that Adam Taylor (might) redshirt this year. That the decision was to be left up to him and his family. I got the notion that the coaching staff didn't want to make the same mistake again (burning the redshirts for Abduallah, Heard, and Green).

I really hurt my neck doing that once.

I'd like to think that Bo is changing this as an experiment. Handing out the Blackshirts before the season even begins to see how the defense handles themselves. Time will tell if this is a good move or not. If the defense doesn't perform to his standard, one has to wonder whether he will take the Blackshirts away and will he make the same move next season?

Regular season game is on, and I have to say, this game was ugly in the first half. It's funny how reflecting back you tend to catch more mistakes by the Huskers. The bullet dodged when Fisher blew his cover on Ball, but thankfully he didn't make the catch for a TD. Baptiste running into the punter on 4th and 18 giving the Badgers an automatic first down. I've come to appreciate how Compton was able to keep the defense in check with the many motions and fakes to try and throw the defense off. It makes me wonder if we will have that same kind of success from the mike LB this year being able to accurately direct the defensive front seven when it comes to motions and fakes. The game is on BTN by the way.

Kind of agreeing at the moment. Did you two not see Daredevil? I saw Daredevil. Terrible movie. Only sexy Jennifer Garner and Colin Farrell as Bullseye made this movie watchable. I think Ben Affleck would be better to start as another superhero, like Doctor Strange or Ant-man, but not Batman. They could have found someone else to play such an important role. Either two things are gonna happen, Ben is going to have a complete rebound into stardom playing the role of batman, or he is gonna be the worse actor to play the role since Val Kilmer. Clooney was far worse than Kilmer. Snyder has done a good job with comic based movies. 300 and Watchmen were both adapted from graphic novels. So I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt for the time being. And as a whole, many first looks at castings of superheros have come off as skeptical. Keaton as Batman and Tobey Maguire as Spiderman are a couple good examples off the top of my head. Yea but look what happened with Tobey and Spiderman.

Much like last season when Bo banned players from using social media sites during the season. I wonder if this move is to eliminate distractions on team. Bo is not Callahan, so lets see how this season plays out.
