    For two years I was stuck in a small central NE town of about 2,500 people. I can't say that I liked much about it other than the cheap rent at the time. There was one movie theater and a Subway, McDonalds and a Chinese place opened up, that was a big deal at the time. I was out there just for a job but man was it boring.

    They should set up a twitter account for this "battle" and let the fans pick which one out of four clubs that they have to use for each shot. It would be awesome to see them at a 150 yard par 3 with the options of: Driver 3 Wood 1 Iron Putter

    The problem is this...they are very much in the same situation as Nebraska was last year. They have their "golden boy" out there for the taking and if they don't get him there are not many other names that will make the fans happy.

    110% yes! I have even stopped the movie and or changed the channel because you can totally tell that the other person/people hate it.

    For me, I think it is Freddy. When I watched Nightmare on Elm Street as a kid it basically ruined me for about a week. I can still remember walking to the bus stop the next morning and being terrified that Freddy was going to get me.

    From an Illini board: Yes it is. Chryst won’t sustain the dominance Alvarez built and Bielema (especially with Russell Wilson) was able to sustain. I would look for Nebraska to be the future top dog in the West with everyone else jockeying for position.

    Yep...they are playing a part. Just like the home teams broadcasters make a 3 yard run sound like a 73 yard TD run with the guy breaking 17 tackles.

    Man, the Husker app the other day was like 10 minutes behind Yahoo Sports.

    I think he gets like 3 million a Purdue...Which means Ville will have to pony up...1.5 more? 2? I have no idea if he is married or not...but WL is okay and close to Chicago but I would think Ville is a nicer place to live.

    Yeah, I would imagine the bars hate it...I am sure 2:30 is the time that bars want...you get the before/during/after crowd and you still get the college crowd at night.

      This is why I figured 9 or 10 wins.  The West sucks...it has always been a division based off of not winning games but making sure you don't lose games.

      The "not losing games" is how Northwestern is going to win this super lame Big Ten West.  Purdue, Nebraska, and Iowa handed NW their games, Michigan State is pretty average, and Wisconsin was playing with a backup QB.
