I know I'm still mad about that game.

This reminded me of what I noticed watching some highlights of NU v. TAMU last night. The whole reason Caputo stepped on Taylor's ankle, thus reinjuring it, was because he was being man-handled and was pushed 5-7 yards into the backfield before being flattened. I've stuck up for Caputo a lot, because I do think overall he's a good player, but that made me cringe. I'm hoping it was due to the fact that he was hurt.

In order for that to be a valid argument, you'd have to prove CFB stars getting paid is the rule and not the exception. We know of a tiny percentage of players getting paid, that doesn't mean all of them do. I'm all for including more in their scholarships, so they have it a little easier. Even if you started to pay players ridiculous sums of money (although I'm not sure if that's what you're advocating, you haven't really made it clear), that doesn't prevent people from cheating. People can always break the rules to give their school an advantage. Your marijuana/black market comparison is a poor one.

King of the intramurals. They would be average in a real conference. It's one thing to get up for a decent team once a year. It's something completely different to have to face stiff competition week after week. They're a joke.

So our wrestlers were still part of the Big 12 when we faced Wisconsin in a dual last January? At the time I thought *that* was the first NU B1G competition. We weren't apart of the B1G until July 1.

So even if you're the team that loses the Cy-Hawk game, you still kinda win.

John Bush Anthrax is the only Anthrax I like. I agree with Opeth & Mastodon, stoked. I love the John Bush 'Thrax, but I am also a purist, and thoroughly enjoy Mr. Joey B singing. They actually have the Opeth and Mastodon songs up on youtube, quality I was kind of disappointed by Curl of the Burl, to be honest.

Earlier today on ESPN radio I heard an NFL Preseason game, iCarly, Jersey Shore, and Home Alone 2 all got better ratings than some pennant race MLB game haha.

I usually take Romo because you can usually get him late, and he puts up good numbers. Usually better numbers than most of the QBs taken ahead of him. Unless, of course, he gets a broken clavicle. That killed me last year.

I agree with a lot of what he's saying, but that's no excuse to blatantly break the rules. If you don't like it, don't accept the scholarship. No one is forcing you to play college ball. You know the rules when you sign up.

Well it's pretty confusing when the screen name is "The Dude" I just figured it was an actual "dude" It's a common misconception. The Dude is actually a fictional character from the motion picture The Big Lebowski.
