It is my hope that as we rub elbows with three of the seven winningest teams all-time (Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State) that conversations like this will get shunted aside. Iowa interests me as much as talking about Kansas State interests me. If we're to have a rival in the Big Ten, let it be one of our peers. It diminishes us to think of a team comparable to Missouri as our "rival." Aim higher. Exactly. Sure Iowa has won about as many games as us in the last decade. I know this because their fans inexplicably feel obligated to tell me this over and over again. But I don't think they realize that decade, by and large, was a down-right fugly period of our history. They were about as good as us when we were awful... congratulations? We have bigger fish to fry.

Jesus, I wish I'd have blocked that out, would have made parts of the season MUCH easier to handle... Or maybe I just blacked-out as I turned Nebraska fumbles into a drinking game.

I agree with a lot of the article, but I also think we're a top 15 team even with an offense that tends to go full retard on a regular basis.

This made me go back and check out some highlights, and I have to agree with everything you say here. One thing I also noticed was how poor our run defense could actually be, and it wasn't just Bo's "bend but don't break" strategy. It was a lack of hussle, very sloppy tackling (not just by the safeties), and the d-line flat out getting beat. That was ugly, hopefully we get that fixed this fall.

Huge fan of Fonzie. Maybe my favorite Husker. He just always seems to have great attitude. Everyday he just tries to find ways of inspiring himself to get better.
