These kids have all the athletic talent they need. They are put in good schemes and are well-coached. they simply have to believe in themselves and in the system. They have to KNOW that they are going to win, and play to bury the other team, rather than play not to lose. They question, at least to themselves, if they belong in the top teams in the country. The talent difference between the #1 team and the #50 team is not very big. It is a game of confidence. Are you going to quote Glenn Beck next?

I was never in the closet. I just call things the way I see them. I've followed the Huskers for a lot longer than you might think. I'm not a husker hater. I just don't care about them now that they're worse than mediocre. Their decline started about Frank's 2nd year. I'm just saying huge changes need to happen before the Huskers are an ass kicking team again on BOTH sides of the ball. Osborne is a great guy but he doesn't understand the game and Pelini is not head coach material. An awesome defensive co-ordinator but not a head coach. Speaking of closets, nothing will change until the University cleans out the football closet from TOP TO BOTTOM. Don't ask don't tell!!!!!

What I noticed also was leadership from Lee. He seemed to show to much nervousness to teamates...and no seriousness of winning the game. Green when he was in always had a GAME FACE on.

Please don't act like Lee has nothing to do with this! He is as much to blame as anyone else is. Not even counting the entire game, how did he look in the last two possessions and how many completions did he have? I'm not saying it's all his fault, but don't pretend like he's a great QB and everyone else is letting him down because the truth is he's a bad QB and he's just blending in with a bad offense. i guess my problem is that i don't believe Zac Lee is a bad QB. I think he is good QB who is still learning, and is fully capable of winning games. But as Bo put it, players didn't play well around him.

I am tired of hearing this crap part of being a QB is having a instinct for the defense and be able to roll out of the pocket, or run the ball, NOT TAKE SACKS! Conversly, was what we say Cody do a few times when he was in the game! I mean how many sacks did Green give up in how many minutes compared to Lee? What was the per capita average? Face it Witt was better than Lee! Hell put Martinez in or an injured Spano for all I care. Lee has proven to be unproven!
