I guess we should give the aggie that thinks he was only grabbing Cotton's hamstring a break. He probably has a pair that resembles Bebee's.
-
Evidently the f aggies are better at ball handling than we thought. Just like ISU twisting on Burkheads helmet. No suspension. The problem with you well meaning aggie fans and such is you just show up and see one game. We have seen this going on for quite awhile. Granted the Big 12 refs are the poorest around but now this is making bigger headlines than just from Husker fans. Do some checking. I just red where out of 194 snaps that the officials doint the A&M, TU and ISU game against the Husker defense that there has been zero, I repeat zero, offensive penalties called except for some procedures and movement calls. ZERO calls......

Actually it's kind of hard to hate on a bunch of young kids that have endured what they have only to keep digging and not throw in the towel. A large % of their fans can kma but you do have to congatulate the team for hanging in there. Lets kick them so hard they never forget however!!!! sCUm bags!!!

At least we all can agree that Cody Green is not very good. I don't know if they keep stats for such but he's probably in line to be one of Nebraska's record setting "play signalers". Unfortunately he does that when he's IN the game also....

Perlman unhappy with Bo's sideline behavior
cscott2win replied to HuskerNMO's topic in Husker Football
Some of you are just not getting it. If this happens again it may result in Bo's dismissal, like it or not. It is a different day and age from when Devaney coached. I'm sure he has been warned and had some talks with TO and now Perlman. Like it or not. If it persists the Huskers will be looking for another coach whether you like it or not. I like the one we got! I want him to stay! I'm not in charge and neither are you. But Bo needs to practice what he preaches and show a good example. He was screaming and all over Cotton for his 30 yard penalty without even finding out the facts. So Cotton's reaction was bad but Bo's reactions are good? If you as well as I want to keep Bo as a coach then we better all be hoping that he and Carl straighten up and fly right even under adverse conditions. Don't judge someone when times are going good, judge them when times get tough. Bo failed big time in my eyes last night and compounded the problem. That's strike 2....... -
Bebee will just buy another crew!!! The best thing the Huskers can do is beat Colorado Friday.
-
Other than your #83 playing with another guys junk I have to admit that A&M is a pretty good bunch. What an atmosphere last night. Hope you keep the Horns from getting bowl eligible and I hope we keep CU in the same boat. I just worry that the powers that be will not let either team play on a level field next weekend. Call us Husker's gunshy but it is what it is. I'm glad we are about done with this conference. Best of luck!

Cotton put on his helmet several plays later and ran out on the punt team......

There was a late hit on Akumara, in the back, by an A&M lineman well after the tackle and whistle had blown. It was right in front of the ref! I saw Meredith getting chop blocked on one of Grays runs. He was engaged and another A&M player clipped him from behind non the less. I am sure all Nebraska has to do basically is send the whole game tape in for what good that would do. Enjoy your win Aggies. It was your money so I guess you earned it!! Good luck in the future!! LMAO!!!

Perlman unhappy with Bo's sideline behavior
cscott2win replied to HuskerNMO's topic in Husker Football
As we all can see, Bo's actions on the sidelines have caused a divide in the Husker Nation. Hopefully this problem with the Pelini's behavour can be resolved before it causes any more problems. We all love Bo's passion, his work ethic, and what he has done to return the Huskers to a winning program. We also know that the refs have been hosing us this season. Teams reflect their head coaches personalities and the Huskers look very undisciplined even barring the questionable calls. Bo needs to learn a little discipline himself or I'm afraid his stint here will not be as long as many of us are hoping. I'm not being critical, I'm being realistic. Another outburst like that and we could very well end up with another loser like we last had as coach. -
If I remember right that guy had some issue also.

I was not aware that that was the same officiating crew that did the Texas/NU game earlier this year. Wouldn't you think Bebee would have steered clear of that happening............ unless......

Pelini Needs To Act More Like COach Osborne
cscott2win replied to happyhusker's topic in Husker Football
I'm not exactly a happy camper at the moment and I am glad that I didn't have all my actions on film tonight. But I have to agree with you. Bo is Bo and he doesn't have a very good poker face. I do feel that some of his sideline behaviour is becoming very embarassing. His tirade with tMart was rediculous as was his tirade with Cotton once the truth came out what caused that ordeal. Hopefully Tom will have a chat with him. -
A lot of strange things going on at times but we don't have all the info. The high ankle sprain may take months to heal but the trainers may have said that it won't get any worse. It's probably more of a dealing with the pain issue. I do worry more about his passing off that ankle than his running. We have backs that can run the ball. What was the deal throwing twice at the end of the game, calling time out and then taking a knee?

I wasn't exactly "Mr Happy" during yesterday's game either!!!!

Courtney Osborne's hit on Gabbert has been sent to Big 12 for review?
cscott2win replied to Nexus's topic in Husker Football
I think Bebee wants everyone to be like him and lead with their head up their ass!!! -
Jesse Palmer assigns Bo to "Ministry of Defense"
cscott2win replied to HuskerfaninOkieland's topic in Husker Football
There is little doubt that Carl and Bo are probably at the top as far as defensive minds. Just don't forget that they also have had some teams score a lot on them. Even Bo while he was at LSU gave up some big scores. Bo loves tinkering doesn't he!! That's what I love about him. Now I'm waiting for a 1 man defensive line just to keep the center honest!!! -
Courtney Osborne's hit on Gabbert has been sent to Big 12 for review?
cscott2win replied to Nexus's topic in Husker Football
Something to think about..... Why would Pinkel announce to the press that he is asking for a review of the hit? I could see him asking for an explanation much as Pelini would like to know about several fumbles and such but generally that isn't revealed to the press. Strange indeed....... -
Roy Helu named Walter Camp National Player of the Week
cscott2win replied to Nexus's topic in Husker Football
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska's Roy Helu (HEL-lou) Jr. has been named Walter Camp Football Foundation national offensive player of the week after running for a school-record 307 yards and three touchddowns in the Cornhuskers' win over Missouri. It's the second straight week a Nebraska player has won the award. Last week quarterback Taylor Martinez was honored for his performance against Oklahoma State. Helu scored on runs of 66, 73 and 53 yards as the Cornhuskers took control of the Big 12 North. Helu's rushing total is the most by an FBS player this season. Connecticut linebacker Sio Moore is defensive player of the week after making 17 tackles in the Huskies' 16-13 overtime win over West Virginia on Friday. Take the alcohol out of the story and still driving 92 in a 60 at 3:45 am some 4 hours from home after attending a Cowboys game? Probably other question that will arise.

And your Co-Big XII Offensive Players of the Week are...
cscott2win replied to knapplc's topic in Husker Football
A lot of qb's had similar numbers as Gabby did. TMart got national offensive player of the week. -
How about Baylor being ranked!!!!
-
I'm still a Husker fan through and through and have been for all my life. Even through the Callahan years. Hoping for a win in Stillwater but not counting on one. Until Nebraska starts playing discipline football we are going to struggle. Personal fouls, fumbles, missed assignments, dropped passes, poor coaching decisions. Until they can clean that crap up they will continue to have problems.
-
Give him a pass? He'd drop it! How about we trade him for Okie Lite's wide receiver Blackman for this game? Your call......
