this game wont we as close as everyone is writing about on here.. i see our offense coming out of a slump. we will throw the ball for more than 20 something years (guess) this game, and we can only run better on a defense that is far worse than OU's. I see us getting three turnovers on defense, two being picks, and the other from Reesing loosing the ball along with his head after SUH and CRICK sandwich him!! We roll after good first drive and first have, rolling 27-13, the first game i am confident about our offense with whatever QB. Watson will pull his head out for once!

honestly i think we would have lost. Jones just didnt have it, and tell me a game that bradford threw four interceptions(not counting the last one since he didnt even care where that one went) in his career, too lazy to look but i bet he hasnt. Jones flinched when he got into the redzone, maybe it was our D, but i will say it was him, but i still love our D!! And this is all what if, so no need to even waste energy typing on trying to argue.

I really would like to get this guy. he seems like a complete stud, and would be a great S/LB possibly. i hope we can get him, hill, mobley, and or malone/tejay johnson with the longshot of OO in the window but i dont see that has Cal or the oregon schools are the best bets. but either way i want one more four star to go into the offseason seeing that!! no not really, im not into stars a few concern me with the offers such as mitchell but i will put the faith in the coaches. they cant all be four/five stars unless you are texas or SC, and look what that gets you. Underachieving teams, and i hate that.

I voted for the oklahoma scenario maybe because i am on a high right now.. not really but this could either propel us to win the next three or we could have a relapse like oregon did this week. I just want a shot at Texas to see where we stand becuase our offense can only go up from here..

The main thing that urks me with Lee is that when the pocket begins to break, he just goes in this weird crazy mode where he looks scared, ducks his shoulders and head and pretty much goes down by himself. I was one of the biggest Lee bashers and will remain to be, but Green didnt show me much. It was more of Watsons fault for probably setting it up so that his buddy Lee could play by making green look silly. Its not that hard to complete a pass. I watched plenty of games yesterday and teams make it look easy to atleast complete a pass! I know Oklahomas D is good but we havent been able to do it since we played conference foes arkansas st. or Lafeyette whoever it was.. I just hope that watson goes because he is more of the problem than Lee or Green. I know Green will be better in the long haul but until then they need to split the snaps in all honesty agaisnt an average opponet like KU and get this figured out. Lets all pray that if Watson goes, he takes Lee with him!! HA

I know its only the first half, but they trail to another little 11 team at half-time and have four turnovers already. I think that NU could honestly compete with these guys and they shoudnt be ranked #4. What do you guys think?

I think it's funny that you doubt this is a very strong top 10 defense in the country when two thirds of the way through the season they are #4 in the nation. Numbers don't lie... or do they. True points scored on the D in the big 12... Mizzou 10, TT 24, Ia St. 6, Baylor 3 which is a total of 19 points less than they get blamed for on the stats sheet. and like in the deed said, why blitz when you can get consistent pressure with the D-line? Secondly, if 28 points is what it takes to win, then Nebraska has about a 5% chance of winning, seeing as to how we haven't scored 28 on anyone other than the sunbelt. look at the teams we have played and then tell me that our statistics compare to the level of teams in the SEC. We know that we can score and stop the SUNBELT conference that we might as well join, but the VTECH game looks just average now and the only good team we have played is? Fill the rest in smart guy cause im not sure who our D has stopped.

gotta like KU here if we want to win the north. but it really doesnt matter if we win out after today..

i think its funny how everyone thinks our D is just so strong and top 10 caliber. The only impressive defensive performance of the season was via the game against TTech. Thats it folks. Dont get me wrong, our front four can hang with any of them in the nation, but after that, i dont think we are all that good. Hopefully someone eggs Pelini's house or something again so we can get some pissed off playcalling on D. When was the last time we had some good blitzing schemes as of late? thats the way to success in these games. The O will suprise us as teams tend to step up in big games once or twice or the other D has a mental laps in these games. 28 points is the magical number to win if our D is the D everyone thinks it is.

So in college basketball if lets say UNC and Duke play for the national title and UNC is 32-0 and Duke is 25-7, and duke beats UNC, is UNC still the champion if they have the best record in all of college?

Anyone who thinks that Texas's defense is equal to ours is snorting something..

The north comes down to three teams pretty easily. Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas State. Kansas will loose to Texas, leaving them with four losses in conference with just that one loss out of the remaining four leaving them out. Iowa State will eaither loose to Missouri or OK State leaving them with four or five losses. And then leaving Colorado, but we wont even bring up a scenario for them.. ha Kansas State has a weird schedule remaining with games that are all within reach. No one really knows how they will end up. They go from beating a Mass. team by 4, then loosing to ULL by 2, and then crushing a Texas A&M who killed Iowa State this week. Hmmm.. two of the three games are at home, but with Missouri running the same kind of offense as Texas Tech, i dont see any reason to think they will win that one. That leaves them at a 4-3 mark going into the game with NU. Missouri is then left to think that they will win out pretty easily with Baylor, ISU, KSU, and KU left after getting the first three games out of the way. But if them and Nebraska end up at 5-3, doesnt that give the nod to NU? It all comes down to Nebraska needing to turn the season around. They did it last year in there final three games, and hopefully they can add one more to that and make it four with OU, but we will have to see. We can never seem to win the big ones.. In the end the edge seems to go to Mizzou, then a toss up with whoever wins the KSU/NU match for the second best chance in my eyes.

He is the best linebacker on our team, not safety. He lets balls go over the top of him all the time. Wait until these OU recievers hurt him a little more than ISU's and Baylors.. Like the guy but he isn't a great safety

Anyone that has Watsons back here is either a little slow and i wont make fun of you, but the others with a normal brain, need to watch the past three or four games and see why the majority of us arent classless.

Were we watching the same game?! Some of Green's passes missed horribly. Did you forget about the skip passes? I have to agree with Travis here on every single point. Lee has looked shaken due to horrible line play and injured RBs. He did however need to work on getting rid of the ball sooner. I see us losing more games starting Green at this point than Lee. I think the switch to Green was only done to appease fans. Baylor does not have a good team at all. If Lee had started I bet we would have put up 2 more TDs in the game as well as not having a pick 6. After the Virginia Tech game and how Oklahoma looks now, who would you pick to win the game? my how things change. The only way we could win the Oklahoma is with Lee. A confident Lee that is. Lee can't throw down field and misses recievers. Would you rather have a QB that sits the the pocket and looks like a scared puppy, or one that may not be a whole lot better of a thrower YET, but atleast isn't scared to cross the line of scrimmage. The only reason Lee gets respect here and there is the hype that he got in the spring practice. He should go try get that year of JUCO eligibility back!!

Green didnt get any snaps last week and Lee disappointed, so its Lees turn to ride the pine. Green is doing very well so far, so keep the flow going for next week. I cringe and cry when Zac runs the O
