  1. As long as Kaplan or Phoenix aren't in play, I'm not too worried.
  2. I treated this weekend grocery run like a impending snow storm. Tri-City area is said to be inundated with a large influx of visitors.
  3. But they didn't get married so the point is mute. Not only did they not get married, Rhaegar broke his previous engagement to run away with the daughter of his family's enemy. (I don't buy that he kidnapped and raped her). The only reason Jon is king of the north is because everyone thought he was Ned's only living son, and they're living in exceptional times. Dany is alive and well and has the only claim to lead the Targaryens as long as that's true and they're following the previous rules of succession.
  4. Bastards don't have claims to thrones. He has zero claim. If we pretend his parents were married, no one on earth knows or thinks they were married except maybe Bran, and like I said it probably wasn't a legitimate marriage anyway. Neither side wanted it. Robert would have killed both of them if he thought his woman was in the relationship willingly (married or not), and the mad king probably would have too. I don't think there will be any conflict, unless it's from Dany being paranoid, because Jon is a very reluctant ruler in the first place. (I think she will be thrilled to have a living relative). King of the North is a bit different since it's a brand new title, and also because the Starks were decimated. At one point everyone thought there was no male heir to the throne. They also thought Sansa was lost to the Lannisters forever and Arya was dead. That left literally no one from the strongest house in the North except Jon. So he, a bastards, becoming their ruler was only because of extremely odd circumstances. Also, when Stannis offered to make Jon a legitimate son of Ned, he turned him down. Agreeing to rule the north was a big leap, and I think Sansa will end up doing that even if Jon survives. Jon wouldn't accept being king of everything. What he would accept, IMO, is ruling the north for Dany, or giving Sansa a strong recommendation and helping bring them to some kind of agreement. That ending wouldn't be disappointing at all, given all the sh#t everyone's gone through. From what I have read is that info like marriages, even runaway ones are information that maesters in the citadel keep records of deep in their libraries. And I bet it's one of those out of site out of mind deals. Or at least that's how Reddit seems to think the whole thing probably went down. Yeah, the r/asoiaf reddit is a deep cave of conspiracies. The maester comment is correct. Logs like this are kept as a record and only really brought back out if there is a legitimate claim. I don't think Jon will want the Iron Throne either. I'm just saying that there is a better than likely chance that R & L got married thus making Jon a more legitimate heir. From what we know, the kidnapping and raping was just a narrative that Robert to legitimize his hold on the Throne. Creating the story that ALL Targs are bad is an easier sell than I lost my girl to a pretty boy.
  5. We have no info on if they ran off and got married. It's heavily hinted that they may have from what I've looked up. There are several hints that Jon isn't even his real name. If you watch the season finally from last year, "His name is ...(inaudible)" her lips do not say Jon. Something could be revealed later via Bran.
  6. You don't have to put the guy on blast, but can someone fill me in on Brokop? What is his deal and why is not developing? You can pm if need be.
  7. If my house crumbles from an earthquake and that's not covered in my policy, then what? I guess we'd better socialize home owners insurance also. Just so you know, earthquake is typically excluded from your standard home insurance policy. You have to purchase that coverage, at least in Nebraska you do. It's weird, each state has different insurance departments that allow companies to create their own guidelines. Nothing really standardized nationally.
  8. Not saying he's coming, but hasn't his MO been to just show up places? No real announcement.
  9. Not going to lie, this hit me in the feels when I saw this scene.
  10. I could also see it as Trump wanting his ego stroked by those that criticize him the most. If he fails to go through his campaign promise and back out of the Paris Agreement, he won't really loose any support from his base. That base is really going to back him no matter what he does. He would get a nice bump of good PR if he chose to stick with the Paris agreement. People who have been critical of him on policy would then say he is making the right decision. Thus getting his ego stroked giving him a nice warm fuzzy feeling.
  11. Welp, this should be the end of this thread.
  12. I heard it on Sharp and Benning. Damon stated that people in front office positions told him when he passed on a personal workout, they removed him from consideration all together. Also discussed how Westercamp may have something else going on that kept him from getting a UDFA contract.
  13. At a house party and Incognito and Mike Stuntz were there. Standing in line at the keg, Richie shoves his way through so he and Mike can get the next fill. Someone, not me, questions what they are doing. Richie turns around and asks the guy if he knows who Mike is. I stood there quietly thinking 'ooh, you f'd up bro'. That's where it ended though. From other Incognito stories, I think the guy was lucky Richie was in an okay mood.
  14. I'm no Trump supporter, but the top is full of players and personnel. The bottom is just the players with personnel seated in the front few rows. I believe the Patriots even addressed this. I feel like this type of reporting is what adds fuel to the fire that the FAKE MSM is out to get Donny and his buddies. I want to tell those in the media, you have plenty to go on, there is no reason to embellish or make things up.
  15. I've always operated under the premise that the Bible was written by fallible men who could write their own biases into scripture. Also, the Bible has more than one contradiction in the scripture. In these instances of confusion and contradiction, I'd rather error on the side of compassion and understanding. If God is who I believe he is, I'm confident there will be understanding from him as well.
  16. I'm pretty sure Sharp and Benning did this the other morning at least with the 2011-2014 classes to illustrate how we aren't even hitting on 40% of the classes that have been put together.
  17. I don't know that $ is at play here as much as it is qualifying. Someone like him should have been on at least ONE official visit. Might be more of an admissions thing. I don't know any facts, just following a few bread crumbs.
  18. Nebrasketball...ugh.

No kidding! Here's a team that beat both Indiana and Maryland then loses to a team that hasn't won a game all year? I don't get it. :(
