Just watched the Riley presser. Didn't hear much taking the blame, heard a lot of players screwed up though. Just listening to him, he sounded so out of sync.

I understand bumps in the road. Last night being a huge bump in the road. But it bothers me when the same thing is a repeated issue. If clock management isn't beaten into Langsdorf and Tommy's heads this week, then there's incompetence. Langsdorf's playcalling needs to be addressed as well.

After watching and analyzing, theres no amount of clock management or decision making that woulda prevented illinois from moving down the field in the manner that they did. At the end of the day, Gerry let a man behind him in the closing seconds. They gained 50+ yards in one play.

The team I'd hoped would win lost. I wish they were better. I hope they'll win next week.
