  1. Is it possible that Sanders is going somewhere else and that everyone involved was waiting until after signing day to announce the moves? Just hoping that Sanders wasn't fired and Watson was.
  2. LOL at Bo forgetting the kicker's name. "Did you change your staff" I'm only taking recruiting questions "Is there truth to the rumors of staff changes?" I'm only taking recruiting questions "Have you informed any recruits of staff changes?" Gotta love the persistence.
  3. He might be effective if we spread the field and didn't allow the other team to put 9 in the box. Then he'd have some lanes to throw and force the defense to back up. Instead we're running the equivalent of a Maryland I out of shotgun. Great playcalling.
  4. Turnovers aren't the fault of coaching. Many are the fault of poor officiating, and many are just brain lapses by the players. Watson has even addressed the situation, saying that they are working on it, but there's only so much you can do from the sideline. Don't even start on inability to adjust. You CANNOT say that Bo and Carl can't adjust after watching 4 years of Callahan and Cosgrove. So we're a terrible offense because we score quickly? Wow. If this team is this bad, I can only imagine how bad the '95 Husker squad was. Against Florida they looked like garbage. That Tommie Frazier dude sucks. Give me a break. Also, when have we even tried to run a 2 minute offense? Like, legitimately tried, not just simply being on offense with 2 minutes left. There's a difference.
  5. I think if there would have been a clear enough view that play would have been overturned. It looked like his knee was down when the ISU player made the strip motion. It was just unfortunate that you couldn't clearly see the location of the ball when the knee was down. I'm pissed that their douchey coach got the call changed. There could have been a clear view, but they wouldn't overturn it anyways.
  6. Exactly the kind answer that contributes absolutely nothing to this thread. This thread is exactly the kind of thread that contributes nothing to this board.
  7. Just like we lost to a sh**ty texas team this year in our own house? he may have them ready for big games but we should'nt be getting by when playing inferior teams. What about going on the road and beating a better team in Okie State? Make no mistake about it gentlemen, Okie State is a good football team. I don't want to play them again. It's looking more and more like we'll have to. It's always hard to beat a team twice in a year. I am nervous as hell to play Okie St again. Pelini wont let that underthrown pass crap work again. Weeden isn't a great QB and with a little pressure, we could easily shut him down...as much as you can shut down their offense, but it would be enough.
  8. It's not like we were missing key offensive and defensive starters or anything. Who needs their starting or second string QB? Who needs a pro-caliber starting CB? It shouldn't matter that Gomes was injured for a decent part of the game either. You couldn't have been serious when you posted this. Seriously, Burkhead took probably as many snaps at QB as Green. We were definitely short handed playing in inclement weather, so I'll take the win any way we can get it.
  9. I don't want to get real deep here but did he say "hairy moles" I don't understand? I think he was looking in a mirror when he typed this. He's saying Okie State and Baylor will be a sexy game and Bevo v. Kitty kats will pack the punch of a pillow fight (using airplane pillows) and is extremely unlikely to resemble a football game at all. I got what Ubben was saying about us in the article....just sayin'. I'm really not all that concerned but I still don't get the Hairy Mole thing, really I don't? Have you seen hairy moles? They aren't pretty.

  11. I've been saying that Oregon WILL lose. They do not impress me.
  12. Push Over/under: 42 Number of ISU fans that harass/yell at me Over. O/U 1,000 little Cyclone tears (kids crying)
  13. They are the best around when it comes to giving up points.
  14. For the record, our division is the first listed in my suggestions Steak Division and Eggs Division Bean Division and Cheese Division Call of Duty Division and Halo Division Black Ops Division and MW2 Division Pr0z Division and n00bz Division L33t Division and....Not L33t Division Straight Division and Gay Division Manly-Man Super Amazing Beast Division and Flower-Picking Hop Skotch Guild (Division)
  15. This team has never even tasted the national championship so they don't even truly know what they're playing for, however if they finish the year with only 1 or 2 losses and make it to a bcs bowl they'll know just how close they were and what they should have accomplished. That will make them hungry for more in 2011 when we will have a better team anyway. has oregon even ever played for a mnc? they sure seem hungry. A bunch of teams are hungry...it doesn't mean they're good. Oregon hasn't looked too good in a few games. They're just taking advantage of a weak Pac-10.
  16. You could argue 3. Crick is good. Not Suh good, but there can only be one "best ever".
  17. They have a street called Lincoln Way? They know who their pimp is.
  18. The Experts on ESPN all seemed to agree that it was perfectly clean. Smartest thing any ESPN panel has ever concluded.
  19. I remember when South Dakota State did the same thing... SDSU=Mizzou It's funny cuz it has a double meaning. Indeed. We didn't have to throw an illegal block downfield to beat an SDSU though.
  20. The block on Steinkulher really bugs me. Stein is running after the ball carrier and the guy litterly dives at his knees. To me that is blatantly cheap shot and still think its a illegal hit. This is an extremely dangerous practice, he couldve easily injuried Stein. In Big 12 officating language, Stein is a defenseless player, has little chance at making a play on the ball. Besides isnt a cut block only legal on the line of scrimmage anyway. For example you can cut block a DT at the line, but not a blitzing LB/Safety/corner. This my understanding of the rules, maybe I need a refresher. that is my understanding. it is an illegal crackback block in the backfield. I don't know if it's illegal, but it looked like it and probably should be, but making a rule about it would benefit the defense, so it will never be made.
  21. There was a thread about where the crown of the helmet is, but I cant find it anymore. Perhaps it was moved or merged. I was going to post this diagram I found of the location of the crown of the helmet. It's highlighted in white
  22. We don't exactly control our own future, but we can are in a very good spot. Maybe this season will shake out like 2001.
