I agree @C N Red. Serious BS if he gets to play next year. He's got no hardship or coaching change. What would the rationale possibly be for petitioning to play immediately?

@JJ Husker In the article I linked, there was commentary around an incident in earlier in the year where a Georgia baseball player used a racial slur against Fields.  I have no idea if it's true or whether it can be used as a basis for his "hardship".

I would be surprised if he isnt eligible next year.  NCAA has to grant the kid a release after the racial slur issue.  That issue will become much bigger if he is penalized foerleaving that situation.
