    My roommate in college was acquired by a survey you filled out before you started your freshman year. He was a good guy, but I transferred to UNL after my freshman year there. The only awkward moment was coming home from studying one night (our dorm room door was unlocked) so I walked in and he and his girl were naked on his bed, and he was finishing the deal. On her chest. I turned around and walked back out. He had seen me so the next day was a little awkward, and he apologized for it and not locking the door so there would be some warning. I basically told him, "it's ok, looks like you were having a good time. Oh, and by the way, you have a small...."

    take some moola outta bo's contract and give it to Miles... he actually gets results!! I bet all the Husker players who worked their asses off to beat Georgia in the Gator Bowl are happy to hear that.

    I'm sure the B1G is looking for a way to extend the regular season so they can try to work out a way to make us dead last in the conference

    Wait, what? I know right? I'm all for upgrading the music selection, but you have to play Sirius for the Tunnel Walk just like you need to play Can You Feel It? leading up to kickoffs. I don't give a two sh#ts what they play the rest of the game, but it wouldn't be a Husker game without those two songs for me. So it's music that people are showing up for. Makes sense. Surprised the Glenn Miller Orchestra isn't pumping things out. Would match the level of intensity of the fans that show up for the game.

    Didn't agree with a lot of what the refs were doing, especially in the first half, but that was an extremely fun game to watch. I remember when we were down 4 thinking, 'you know...I don't want the Huskers to lose, but this team is a LOT of fun to watch.' Just some great basketball by both teams.

    Again.. it isnt a MVP award... it is best player award. Michigan has other talent... doesnt take away from what he has done. I understand the intent. but still, that's like saying they'll give a Heisman trophy to a player on a mediocre team.

    That's a pretty tough region. UCLA is very winnable but I would fear Iowa State. As long as we don't give up 7 turnovers, I think Bo could coach the basketball team and beat them.

    Can't argue with ^^, This team is really developing, playing with confidence. The defense is night and day from the beginning of the season.

    Look at how we started in conference play. 1-5. Look at how we finished. 10-2. This is why Tim Miles should get conference coach of the year.

    Bo Pelini just got a contract extention. There was supposedly a chance this past season to be in the conference championship game. Didn't happen. Tim Miles' team was supposed to finish dead last. They're (likely) going to the NCAA Tourney instead. He didn't get a contract extention. #hmmmm #weirdtimes

      It is SEs policy to not comment on any coaches till after the season. I don't understand why this isn't obvious.

      It wasn't hate towards Bo. It was more about how trigger happy NU is towards contract extensions. Well, at least sometimes. There was buried humor in my post, and boy...did it get buried.

    I think Miles deserves it, but I'd trade it...and I'm sure he'd trade it...for a good tourney run. Give Beilein credit...he's the only coach that beat Nebraska at PBA....by one point...by basically one inch. Think about that for a moment. Nebrasketball was almost undefeated at home. The team picked to finish dead-last in the conference. Wow. Give credit where credit is due, Coach Miles has really transformed this team. This is coaching at its finest.

    Gotta give props to Wiscy...it was easy to see why they're #9 in the country...they can shoot lights out at any given moment. Hated most of the officiating, but that was an entertaining, hard-fought game. Keep it rolling Huskers!

    Sorry Beilein...but I think someone else deserves it. Congrats Tim, congrats Huskers...and congrats to the fans that were there. Don't think for a second they didn't help make this happen. GBR
