Weird.....all the announcers were saying he's got the starting job. I think that's the assumption since he's been playing with Callahan for 5 or 6 years now and the other guard is pretty much a project. Slauson starting with a false start, then a holding call later, and several times blitzers went right past him. His pass blocking w/o the blitz wasn't bad though. And the Jets only managed 83 rushing yards. And unrelated... Danny Woodhead had 5 receptions for 41 yards. I saw Woodhead playing last night, and he looked like so tiny with all those huge NFL players, but he did well!

That is great to know, because I had/have the same problem and year one I had the 50th ranked class, year two 9, and then year three I focused all my time on ten guys and got a #4 class. Quite an improvement. Has anyone played as someone other than nebraska in their dynasty? I just transferred to a different team and they really made the pipeline states important this year.

That is an awesome name! Not trying to be a debbie downer, but to actually make this, logistically, would be tough. Meeting adequate safety levels would leave the product very unappetizing unless he has some type of novel, non-thermal food processing equipment that I've never heard of. But good luck to you sir!

This thread is all over the place but very, very, entertaining. I think that you just need to tell her how you feel. If she says "I dont like you like that", then atleast you know, and could potentially still be friends, but you'd know to move on. If she says "I like you too", it is not directly breaking her up by saying malicious things about her current bf, it'd be her choice to leave him and go with you. Truly the only way to pole vault yourself out of the friends zone (I like to think of it as a deep, dark hole) is to just say it.

This turned into a no win situation. If you leave it up there, it seems like all you care about is revenging the loss in the CCG. However, now that TO/BP ordered it to be taken down, there are posts and articles saying what we have no backbone. I dont think you can say that it was wrong to put the "Beat Texas" on the website because, lets face it, that game is all we have been thinking about this season (See Countdown to Texas thread). If we left it up we would be still getting written about in a negative slant. Once the national media found out about this website, it turned into a no win for us.

Cody Green is only a sophomore. He has the opportunity to use his underclassman status to learn and grow as a qb in our system. Some standouts from other teams like Harris at Miami or Gabbert at Mizzou were forced to start young, and you could see their growing pains. I know that the game Cody started last year at Baylor and wasn't overly impressive, but he managed the game well enough to get us a win. I wouldn't count out Cody starting next year. T-Mart will be definate competition, but I think that Carnes, Turner, and Starling will have the same growing pains that Green showed last year and the minimal time he was on the field. Im still on the CG bandwagon!

Great commercial. I think Suh should be in every football commercial. . .but I'm biased.

I wonder if the allegations against South Carolina would hinder their involvement with this game. They are investigating SC for a possible rules violation in regards to a TE. Still, that national exposure would be great for NU!
