I support Doc, but he sure has me wondering this season. This team should have enough chemistry and should be hungry enough to finish a game by now.

Trigg has been getting rocked lately in his fights, after getting TKO'd last night, he may be looking toward the end of his career.

It's been a wait till next year approach for Neb b-ball for a decade at least now. Nothing new. Doc is a great coach, Nebraska basketball is hard to recruit for. Our scoring defense has been at the top of the big 12 under Doc...we've just always lacked on the offensive side of the ball.

I'm more shocked of O'Hanlon getting snubbed. Good stats and a strong senior season. Led the blackshirts in interceptions and no love? Come on... Oh well, he will get his chance, the combine isn't everything.

I saw that the other day and meant to post something. I really hope Brock does come back soon. I'm not a big Mir fan either, but lately it seems like UFC cards have been pretty lame and I'm sure they'll put together a huge card for Brock's return. I am optimistic on the UFC's fight cards, but UFC 109 is VERY weak. Couture vs Coleman the headline? Maybe 5 years ago, but we all know what will happen...Couture will grind out a decision victory like always. I like Randy, but he has become boring to watch as he gets older. I would be happy to see a KO in this match, but not likely. I am very excited for 110 and 111 though. 110 is stacked compared to recent cards IMO. 111 only has 2 fights scheduled so far, but they are GSP vs Hardy for welterweight title and obviously the interim heavyweight title match.

His trainers say he will fight again. Thats about all the news we are going to get out of this situation it seems. I'm sure it won't be for awhile and the interim title will be given to Carwin or Mir when they fight at UFC 111. Its kind of disgusting they are giving Mir a chance at the title ALREADY. Once Lesnar gets back he will fight the interim champ, I'm sure. I don't understand why they didn't matchup Carwin vs Velasquez(who will have to get past Nogueira at 110). I'm just one of those UFC fans that can't stand Frank Mir so I don't understand how the possibility of Lesnar fighting Mir for the 3rd time makes sense, but I guess we will have to wait and see what happens at 111 because I don't know what to expect out of Mir vs Carwin.

Standhardinger is a gamer. We are so young and have a bright future. I know thats been said for years, but Doc is a great coach and success is on the way.

This is great to see them doing so well. They are definitely on the map and on the national stage now. It will be fun to see how far they can go. Haven't seen them play this year so I don't know if they are title contenders, but we are ranked very high so I say why not? A nat'l title is a nat'l title, I don't care what sport it is.

I don't know who I want to win it all, usually just root for Huskers playing. It's a good opportunity for Brandon Jackson to make a name for himself today for the Packers. Maybe he will be the X-factor...they really like to throw the ball to him out of the backfield.

A+ Didn't realize how rough ISU's season could be if they don't win early against some tough teams. Good luck there.

I don't think they pretended anything in that Denver game to end the season. They beat the crap out of them in their house.

There is a reason no one has said anything about this. It's because we are talking about shoes and socks. Neb will never changed the helmet/pants/jersey color code. Scarlet and cream, red and white, whatever you want to call it...those three items will never include black on them.

He's a senior. Maybe in a fight or in jail because I seriously don't see him having a future in football. But I am surprised he made it through a college career not getting injured badly.

If St. Louis gets the top pick I wouldn't expect them to take Suh. They've taken 2 d linemen in the first round very recently. Chris Long and Adam Carriker. Carriker at DE and Suh at DT? Why not? That's half of the DL that you must pay attention to. I'd rather see Suh go to TB though. The Rams haven't done the right things with Carriker trying to convert him is what I have heard and they tried getting rid of him before the season started, but he was put to the IR anyway. I doubt Carriker is with the Rams next season, could be wrong just a guess. STL will probably take Suh, but I'd rather him go to Tampa with Ruud. There just isn't a QB in this draft worthy of the #1 pick. Maybe the Rams will trade down and give someone else Suh, since they have tons of work to do at many positions.
