  1. Really, they won't turn top pocket passers away because they simply will not recruit them regardless. And really, true pocket passers are becoming less and less common. Coaches from pee-wee to HS all have the same mindset anymore - take your best athlete and put him at QB. More and more you are finding QBs who have little clue on the passing game, while finding kids who are simply great athletes. Alot of that can be attributed to college coaches as well, since so many are going to spread option attacks. TBH, Zac gets a raw deal from the fans and the coaches. Fans think he is awful, even though he played through injuries. Coaches think he is soft, even though he played through injuries. It's as if everyone expected All-Conference production from a beaten down man. I think Zac could be a solid QB, given the FULL opportunity to play QB. I'm not talking about token starts where he is looking over his shoulder constantly either. Easily would expect 10 wins out of the team with him under the helm, if he was given that opportunity. With Taylor, I know he's going to make a ton of plays. But I know he's going to make a ton of bad plays as well that will put us in holes. He's going to be a freshman, and he's going to play like one. In a year where we should expect a ton from this team, do we want to let a freshman be a freshman at the most important position on the field? No matter who is picked, the grass will always be greener. Taylor will make mistakes and people will want Zac for that reason. Zac will not create huge plays consistently, so people will call or Taylor's big play ability. No matter what, people will complain. Personally, I'd use the early season to let Zac build off that 'Zona game. He's the QB we all should want going up to Seattle to square off with Locker. He's been to Columbia in horrible conditions, to Blacksburg, a B12 championship and a bowl game. Given that experience, he would figure to be our best option to get this team where it needs to go for this year. But that's only my opinion. Well BigWillie, I'm with you for all the reasons you posted above. Can't wait for the meltdown that will happen when T-Magic-if he starts- fails to meet expectations. Me, I'm just ready for some Husker football. Go Big Red!!!!! Oh, and thank you for all your insight and information. I like reading what you post.
  2. I hope Green starts, Martinez replaces him, and then Lee up-ends BOTH OF THEM and ends up being the best quarterback in the league. :horns2 :horns2 :horns2 LOVE IT! GO BIG RED!!!!!!!
  3. Propose at the tailgate! Come up with some thing that incorporates the tailgate and your love for her. Makes it an intimate setting, sort of, and could be very special. Either way you go, if she loves you, really loves you, the proposal won't matter so much but try to make it special and add some romance if you can so you both remember it as one of the happiest days of your new life together. Good luck and GO BIG RED!!!!!!!

  8. I'd bet his agent has something to do with this too. Same thing with Tebow here in Denver. 'Tebow' wanted more money than the guy who was picked ahead of him. Tebow signed, (ughhh-I was hoping for a hold out). Suh will too. Let's not past judgement. Suh is still a good person.
  9. Nicely done! Welcome Mrs. Cacti. A very long happy, healthy fantabulous, (yep just made that up!) life together!

  14. I have always had coverage, always. Was layed off last May, Cobra is way way to expensive even with the break Obama approved. So count me as one who does not have any coverage due to unemployment. Pisses me off that they mandated coverage even if it won't go into effect for a few years. Just how in the hell are you supposed to pay for it with out employment dumb asses.
  15. i use crushed saltine cracker crumbs. roughly a hand full per pound.
  16. Well since I'm unemployed and there are absolutely no jobs in Colorado at the moment, I read my trashy, mindless erotic books. Quite the learning experience for little 'ol conservative me.
