  1. -The uniforms sucked -The crowd knows the ins and outs of the wave. Slow-mo and hyper fast. -The wiener-schlinger is capable of firing a hot dog over the press box into the street. -The ladies love Joe Ganz pants. And the guys too apparently. -Ameer is Ameer and Randy is Randy
  2. Uniforms were terrible in person. Couldn't tell our receives apart except for Westerkamp and Allen, since they're single digits. Didn't even know they had names on then. Only cool thing was the big guys looked like the had neck rolls. The shoes were fun though, they were a sunburst orange to red depending on the angle.
  3. uniforms are no bueno in person. Shoes are cool though.

I think we all feel Michigan's pain.
  6. I'm conflicted right now. What is worse for Michigan sraight up losing, or Gardner bringing them back for a victory?

The meltdown will be better with a straight up loss. Not that I care though.

Are they chanting for Brady or Brandon the AD to be fired? I think the AD is on an even hotter seat than Hoke.

I may be done with Gameday forever after that stupid segment. I saw approximately 2 seconds before I flipped to BTN and Fox Sports 1.

  9. Meanwhile, back in the US. We are so screwed, via the house committee on science, space, and technology... (starts at 3:00) http://thedailyshow.cc.com/videos/8q3nmm/burn-noticed That's the best I've heard someone combat the stupidity with just enough chide to still be respectful.
  10. Stewart has been killing it this week. The first few minutes are him setting it up, but the Fox crap begins at about 3:30. It's gooood! http://thedailyshow.cc.com/videos/b7hxzd/the-way-we-war
  11. Like where he wrestled a 300lb fatty? Even JMitch cramped after that.
  12. I was worried about this after the second play where they burned us on a draw, shades of UCLA in my head. But we basically stuffed the run with 5 to 7 in the box and sometimes 4 I think, which is nice. Last year I don't think we could get away with this because of the youth and we got burned a lot. It may bite us later on, but I think they would rather cover the receivers and stop the big pass play and give up 6 or 7 yards on the ground. The whole make them drive the field/bend don't break philosophy. And I thought they made good adjustments as the game progressed, but sometimes I wish they would attack more than sit back and react. It's frustrating to watch them get 7 or 8 yards per play when the defense is reacting. I know that falls under the whole bend but don't break philosophy. I think the D has the ability to make offenses react to them, instead of the other way around. I'm with you. It would have been nice to see something like the Mizzou '10 game plan bringing safeties and corners off the edge. I didn't pay attention to the blitzes (was watching the line) but I'd be surprised if we did more than a handful. The zero blitz on 4th down is obviously the most memorable.

  14. Really like the Papuchis Gatorade plug you guys.

  15. Those golf coaches sure know how to do it don't they?
  16. It wasn't a face mask. He took him down with a clothesline by the throat. And while it could be called unnecessary roughness I don't think it is technically illegal. Knapp you're spot on! By definition to the letter in no way is that a penalty.
  17. Damn, every time I turn around I find a new thing that is similar with our fan bases (except for the size thing, though). You calling us fat? LOL! To clarify, the size as in the number of fans in the fan base. But, if we consider the South Louisiana food, our fan base is probably bigger body-size-wise, no contest. Doc Haha! It's some good food down there.

  20. Ah, didn't hear the presser yet. VV did he him before the INT though.
  21. I had no idea Jamal Turner picked it off with a torn achilles. Anybody ever stop to think that Bo never heard the roughing call and was yelling because he just thought they were PFs, and then saw Miami had a first down? I know in the stadium you couldn't hear the ref on the PA system so there's a good chance Bo never heard the full ruling either, hence why he calmed down quite a bit after the he had it explained to him. Something old Mike never considered before all but calling Bo and idiot.
  22. The PI gets picked up no matter what because that guy wasn't in position to make the call. Side judge was running over to correct it immediately, since his view was right on top of it.
  23. That's just some of the players attitudes. Ameer always respects his opponents. But he did give me a chuckle when he slapped a defender on the leg after a TD. Something really damn classy before the first play that you probably missed on TV was Kenny Bell shaking hands with the corner when they lined up.
