    In retrospect, it would have been best if the UW kicker made his first FG. Would have had 1:30 to try and get into FG range for the win and break their hearts instead of the other way around

      That is why it was smart to use the timeouts before the first FG attempt. It just happened to backfire when the UW kicker missed.

      Still would've had to pick up a first down.....but the play selection may have been more conducive for that in that situation.
