  1. On the contrary: Where is this years so I can rip it off and steal as my new computer background??
  2. Anyone know what time the A&M BBQ is at on Sunday??
  3. He's announcing his decision on June 18th. This schedule is kind of odd. I agree - odd schedule. Seems to me like it is setting up for a commitment to DONU and we will have to work extremely hard to keep him from defecting to FSU or A&M.
  4. The strategy of only having 3 reliable starting pitches has proven to be a failure. Need to use the regular season to develop more depth. At least 4 for conference tourney and regionals is needed or else we will continue to see these quick exits.
  5. Wow - that was tough to watch. Nobody to blame but themselves...
  6. 2700 pass yards - OVER 59% completion - OVER 23.5 TD - OVER 11.5 INT - UNDER
  7. That'd be a huge pickup. Not even going to let myself think about that. Anyone able to listen and provide a summary for those outside of the listening area?
  8. Hopefully Erstad's squad can build more momentum in the final 2 series - especially with Penn State sitting dead last in the conf currently. Mich State does have the 3rd best team ERA and 3rd best batting average... We should still expect to go 5-1 (6-1 with the Creighton game thrown in).
  9. PG - Watson - Taylor SG - Gill - Allen SF - Roby - mcveigh PF - Copeland C - Tshimnga - Duby
  10. If we land Avery a grey shirt could be a likely option for Mapieu - however let's not count our chickens before they hatch. Let's land Avery and let the cards fall where they may after.

  12. Exactly. Until we start winning games against the big boys - Wisc, Ohio St and Mich - there will be little patience.
  13. Agreed. Bryant got some good work in on the first drive and looked productive. Bryant will be the starter going into fall camp.
  14. Looked awesome today. Very advanced for his age.
  15. Wow!! This kid will be dominant. Big things to come!!! GBR!
  16. OWH A little off topic- but did anyone else notice in the OWH article the OWH can't even correctly identify our QBs... yikes.
  17. What happened with jojo? Haven't read or heard anything about an injury to him? Also when did it occur? Thanks in advance.
  18. Although Lee is new to Nebraska and to this particular system, he is far from a rookie. Well, his numbers @ Tulane were subpar. ~52% completions and passed for less than 2000 yds per. That was in the American Conference. So, I see no reason to get all "juiced" about him. And the fact that POB hasn't separated from him worries me too. If either actually gets on the field and kicks ass, I will be surprised. Learning curve time, and we will probably be at a QB disadvantage in most games, like say, Purdue--that guy is pretty darn good and seasoned. jNU QB, same thing, etc. Either should be a better all around passer than TA, but there will be rookie mistakes in real time B1G competition. If either can pull down 8 wins, I consider it a successful season. Look to '18 for things to get interesting for Big Red. Obviously hasn't looked at the 2018 schedule yet...
  19. Wow! No way Stanley does not make your list. The Man should be good for most receptions and yards and best blocker. I like DPE for most TDs. Most Big Plays is definitely a question mark. I could see defenses underestimating a young guy like Tyjon, JD, or McQuitty. Oops. As I did that, I was sort of praying I was forgetting someone. I didn't forget anyone except Stan. I would alter now. How do you forget about Stan the Man?
  20. Anyone know if there is any interest by Pagano or DONU? Hafta think it would be a great fit and we have a couple open schollies.
  21. CBS Completely agree with this proposed change.
  22. how does he have no decent FBS offers? I would think he played against pretty good competition and still put up good numbers. I've come to the conclusion Arizona HS football is terrible. There was a qb that came out of AZ the last couple of years that set all kinds of records and got zero offers. Or this kid is just super slow. But I would take a flier on super bowl qb bloodlines I would think if speed at WR is an issue he could make an easy transition to H back or tightend (if blocking is an issue H back wouldn't have the same blocking responsibilities as a TE). Would love to have him as a walk-on and see where he fits in the future.
