I'm tired of this "give" or "take" black jersey. This defense, and the team for that matter is talented enough to perform. Anymore pulling these jersey is like grounding your kid for being tardy after you dropped them off late to school.

I had some suspicions about this last year and I've seen it most of this year. I'm convinced opposing coaches are toying with Beck. The Husker offense changes the play nearly every time they go to the line. Since the opposing coaches coach and they know this, the are taking advantage of the poorly coached Huskers. The defense is 'baiting' them into the play they want them to run. After the Husker O changes the play, many teams have started changing their D. It's so high school and the staff clearly has no answer for it. All of the teams are doing it at some level.

Moglia will build an organization. That is what he does. Oh yeah, he wins football games too.

Offense -Pick a center. Preferably the one that doesn't share the HCs name. -Bussey will play a ton if he ends up signing. We need this kid. -Beck is losing one of his last defenders...me. -Can we move our WRs to O-Line? Defense -Davie is quietly becoming a lockdown corner. -Gerry is playing at a high level. -We need to target the nastiest JUCO LB in the country. -Gregory doesn't quit until the whistle blows. Special Teams -Why does anyone kick to DPE? -Brown will be needed in close game soon. I'm not real confident now, but I think he'll get there.

Joe Moglia still seems like the best fit to me. He is loaded, so you don't have to worry about his motivation. He has turned a doormat FCS team into a power. I think people will knock his age, but Kansas can't be picky. He can coach there for 5-7 years and hand it off. The Jayhawks need to try something different and I think this could work.

Offense - Get ready TA because team are no going to try to make you beat them. He's going to have to take what the teams will give him and make the throws (especially the short one's). Offense really put the defense in poor field position for the majority of the game. Obviously the O-Line look pretty bad (Sterup looked like he had cement shoes on), but the O in general never capitalized on anything that would have loosened the D up. Defense - The defense played well enough for this to be a victory. Josh Kalu is the real deal. Trevor Roach is the best LB we have. He played really well. Bo and the crew better be looking for the best Juco LB in the country right now because this defense is young and has a ton of potential, but the LB cupboard is bare. I tried not to just automatically buy into the Gregory hype, but he had some beast plays yesterday. Special Teams DPE is special returning punts.Overall Lot of heart shown by the team. If TA can calm down and make the play when he needs to, that will loosen up the inside. I think he can do that and he's going to have to because everyone is going to try and do the same thing. Sparty's D really played well but opportunities were there.

Pre season it was one of the most talked about offenses in the country. lot of injuries and he is a slug. beck needs a qb. just like watson did.

Same conversation I had with a few people after the Hawkeye game. We need an elite QB. I think it would be a difference maker on this team. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed. If Stanton isn't the guy, I hope we are looking hard. I don't really buy the QB development. We need physical, mental and leadership ability.

Husker Sports Network needs to get their crap together. Greg Sharpe, Steve Taylor, Matt Davision and whoever, need to discuss what's going on prior to going on the air. If these guys have no protection to be able to discuss and prepare it's kind of embarrassing.

I cant figure out if its Dobson or the way they practice (the program). The team was soft today. The way they tackle, FUMBLE, and finish plays, I lean more toward the program. I hate to see this because I really believe the talent is there.

Everyone has issues with Beck but wants a GA that has only played under him. interesting.
