    Are businesses more interested in a degree or GPA? basically are grades important, or should i follow the motto "C is a degree?"

      GPA is somewhat important coming out of college. Once you have a good job experience your GPA is pretty much meaningless. It goes both ways, I was an experienced engineer and had a guy who interviewed me dwelling on a crappy grade I had in Organic Chemistry 6 years prior. But most don't look at transcripts.

      gpa don't mean much. balancing work/school is more attractive to employers.
