  1. Hey, I've been pretty busy, and I've been negligent on some things. I really want to thank Undone, Zoogies, Lyons/Sea Red, and Haspula, HuskerFowler for giving me more cred than I deserve (but still much appreciated,) and the industry party bum rusher, Mr. Crewe himself, for either nominating me or 2nd my nom. I genuinely do appreciate it! A few others are getting some PMs. (How exciting, right!) But just coming home and reading some threads I've missed, I read some awful...

My mom knew someone named Dorothy Dorothy. It was after a marriage so, hey...what can you do. But my dad knew a GUY named Thomas Thomas. And that just seems insane to me. Like...is that astonishing laziness, or something weirder? How does that happen?

  5. Hey, just wanted to thank knapp and Chaddyboxer for giving me some ideas on how to combat the insomnia issue. And some of you cracked me up. True....Always, I'm with ya brother. And B-rent, not nosy at all. On the contrary, I appreciate you looking for identifiers that might help remedy my sleep deprivation issues. HB: Full of sarcastic bastards who are secretly kind hearted. Thanks guys!

Yeah, a lot of those sedatives are pretty much mild tranquilizers. They have some of the same chemical components as tranq's if I am not mistaken. I use to have trouble, sleeping...not anymore thank God.

Yeah, and stress in general doesn't help with getting great sleep.

Ah, you guys know me better than to take my girly attention seeking tactics seriously. I could never quit you...no matter how much you might want me to sometimes. ("Another 8,000 word post? Cancel all afternoon appointments, Linda!)

  8. Yeah, me too! I kinda nominated him just hoping he's been lurking around. Trying to lure him out
  9. Nominate Hercules. Has an immense understanding of the game imo.
  10. There's a tight end if I've ever seen one. Second. Thank you kindly
  11. So...what are the best apps and all that stuff? Any advice, like in terms of privacy things I should activate, that kind of thing?
  12. It's close. They're incredible. However: They didn't go undefeated. (As mentioned above.) And they haven't had a season where they just eviscerated every single opponent they played like that '95 team did. And lo country succinctly pointed out why the poll is kinda meaningless: Recent events always trump those faded by the passing of time. It's like talking about the best NFL team ever. Someone who was in their 20s during the early sixties will probably say the Lombardi Packers or maybe Unitas and the Colts, same age a decade later and that person is likely claiming the Steelers, jump forward again with the same premise and that person is raving about Rice and Montana's 49rs, then the Cowboys contingent arrives, then the Patriots. Same type of deal here.
  13. That wasn't a shadowy middle man, it was Thunder Collins, and those envelopes had coke in them.
  14. This is a list consisting of guys I saw on a regular basis, so you won't see Turner Gill in there, even though he clearly is one the best we've had. But I'm going from my own personal frame of reference. 1.) Frazier 2.) Crouch 3.) Frost 4.) Brook Berringer 5.) Taylor Martinez 6.) Zac Taylor 7, ) Joe Ganz 8.) Jamal Lord Ranking in throwing cup at female student over parking space/suing gaming companies. 1.) Sam Keller
  15. I was too young to remember Rozier, Craig, and Rathman, so I've gotta agree with speed. Green, at one pont, was fourth string. If Ahman Green is your fourth string RB...you've transcended the phrase "deep at the position." My dad says, if forced, he'd have to say Rozier was the best he ever saw in the backfield. Said Phillips was a close second.
  16. Notre Dame without even thinking about it. And I don't even like ND a little, tiny bit. Even if I do have some Irish ancestry.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUH3JQjcweM Pessimism, by the way, is not synonymous with realism. EDIT: "and defensive coordinators will adjust for Martinez' shortcomings." The kid was a first team all conference player. Like it or not, he's a good CFB quarterback. Sorry.
