I don't see it that way. They are working out the details of the deal, it's agreed in principle, and the guy needs to be removed from his current game. The deal just happened to be finalized during the 3 hours of the game. GM's are working around the clock.
I think you're right ColoradoHusk. They seem to want to handle some things themselves that would be better suited to a real baseball guy. Dick especially would struggle relinquishing too much control.
I suppose. Guess the whole they said they'd keep Troy in the loop and then blindside him with news of the trade leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Not the way I'd run things but I'm not a GM/owner of a franchise so I suppose I'm not an expert at that.
