Oh yeah in this case i agree . Overall though i think Trump is hiding plenty , and much of has that to do with money, business dealings, and possibly taxes.

This kind of thing could be Donnie's undoing. Al Capone was guilty of many, many, violent felonies, but the charge that finally earned him an 11 year jail sentence was tax evasion/fraud . One simply does not mess with the IRS.

I think with evenly matched opponents the bulletin board stuff probably matters more but there’s no way BC is an evenly matched opponent so I don’t think it will matter much what is said from either side .

Still depends on if we kill ourselves with penalties and turnovers to me. Those 2 things are the difference between our 0-4 record and 3-1 or 2-2 . If we can get that fixed, or even cut down there’s no reason we can’t compete with and beat Illinois, northwestern , BC, Minnesota, and even Iowa .

I don’t blame the penalties on Frost, as he said in the press conference they are drilling players over and over on the right way to do things it’s up to the players to keep their heads in the Game and play smart . Some of them just aren’t doing that . Benching players may help in some instances but Frost also made the point of depth issues at many positions and if they had other players to go to they would already be doing that . Bottom line to me is that there are bright spots and good players on both sides of the ball and I think we played well enough to win a few of the games we lost (Frost said that too ) . We just are not good enough to overcome all the penalties,turnovers, and mistakes . If they can put together a mistake free 4 quarters of football I still think we can beat some of the teams left on our schedule . I still believe we have the right coaching staff and a few solid playmakers we can compete if we don’t beat ourselves .

And a coach who coached the entire game instead of kicking rocks and looking lost

If we keep getting 10 plus penalties and commiting turnovers every game we’ll be lucky to win a game this year . The team is not good enough to overcome that .

A few things remember about the Solich years were Jamaal Lord , Solich's blah personality, getting destroyed by Miami , and the Subsequent loss of prize recruit/program changer Haloti Ngata. In his defense ,Lord was a great at running , bad at passing, and that Miami team was a top ten team all time, but the loss of Ngata hurt. At that time we were used to winning and being a perennial top 25 team so i thought we could, and should do better. Fired too soon or not, i remember feeling the program was slipping backwards under Frank.

I noticed especially in the Michigan game there were many defenders running right past our line unblocked. Who's fault is that?

I really don’t think we are that terrible. The team as a whole is better than they’ve showed . Our dynamic playmaking QB has been iffy through an injury , bad blocking , and dumb freshman mistakes . The offense revolves around him and I think once he’s healthy and comfortable the whole team will get better . Offensive line is not good they got shoved around all day by Michigan especially I don’t know how you fix that . Still giving up too many big plays on missed assignments, and poor tackling . I think this is an area we can fix through coaching, film room etc . First two games I thought were very winnable games that we let slip away , and the third game was against a team we aren’t on par with right now . I don’t think we have the team to compete with the Ohio states, Michigan’s, Penn States of the world but we should be able to fix some things, work hard and win some games this year. I see no reason we can’t compete with Purdue at home and beat them . All is not lost .

I do . The one with the popcorn guy kinda freaks me out . Deb Fishers aren’t my fave either 500 times a day .

It’s demoralizing to get your butt whipped by a better opponent like they did last week, and it’s normal for the team to be down . I’m interested to see how well the team responds in the next game . Guys who can pick themselves up and keep playing hard every week is what everyone wants . This staff has had hours and hours of time with the team to evaluate talent and get to know the players . I have faith they will have the players on the field who give us the best chance to win . They know that better than any of us .

Just stop with the bench everybody, and pull all the scholarships crap. Frost is already playing the players he thinks will give us the best chance to compete, and they aren't good enough. If your top guys aren't that good putting in the 2nd and 3rd string guys will only make things worse. He may make some personnel changes here and there, as he sees fit , but a large roster shuffle isn't going to happen, nor should it. Where does Frost go from here? Forward! We still have a bunch of football games to play. Practice, and prepare, as hard as you can every week and get ready for the next game.Work on fixing the things you can and get better as a team. Keep playing hard and coaching every play of every game and dont give up, There is no other choice.

Agreed . I think TO also advised him not to come here when the “situation wasn’t right” .

Bo made mad faces and upset people . Cost us some dumb penalties etc because of it . He was out of control and needed a strong AD like Moos to get him back in line. Eichorst was not that guy . Riley was hired to be the anti Bo . A “nice” guy that would do what Eichorst/Perlman told him to do . That’s it . The combination of Frost and Moos will eventually fix the damage that’s been done to the program. Unfortunately , games like the Michigan game show us how far we are away from that goal .

I would have liked to see Pellini stay a little longer with a different AD/chancellor combo . Perlman and Eichhorst were as much to blame for the failure of the entire organization as anyone . The mishandling and firing of Bo and the subsequent hiring of a terrible coach (Riley) set the program back years . Callahan with a different DC could have been interesting too .

If anything proved that 4-5 star athletes are better than walk ons, freshmen, and Juco guys it was yesterdays game. They had better players across the board and kicked our butts, It happens, and no amount of "heart" is going to change that. I've played sports most of my life and been in that position many times. All you can do is practice hard and work to get better for the next game. I have faith that Frost will make that happen, but hes going to have to do it with less talented players for now.

Michigan has out recruited us for many years and its showing today. They have better players across the board than we do, especially their lines. They are winning in the trenches big time.

Bunch did about as well as i expected him to do so far, and i don't see him becoming Tom Brady-ish any time soon. If Martinez doesn't get hurt and Gebbia stays, Bunch probably wouldn't have ever taken a game snap for the Huskers. Hes a big step down from Martinez, but he's all we have, and i'm really hoping he doesn't get hurt too, we’ll be screwed.

I’m still excited that Frost is here . I love the new attitude, energy ,and fight of this team .I will admit I definitely underestimated how much of a mess he inherited, and how long it was going to take to fix it though . It sucks that we lost a couple games that we should have won, and now are faced with an uphill battle but with the “never give up” attitude, I feel like we can still compete with any of the teams left on the schedule, and win some games . Even with the losses and mistakes this team looks much better than it did last year and will only get better . That’s what I was hoping for . GBR
