About the dumbest way possible... playing disc golf.  More specifically, I was trying to walk down a rather steep hill with muddy shoes from trying to recover a disc my friend threw into a ravine, and it had just rained so the grass was wet, so I slipped and ended up landing on it. I dislocated it, broke it in two places, and snapped my tibula in half.  They put a titanium plate, several screws/pins, two metal buttons, and quite a bit of surgical wire in it to hold everything together.  

I'm doing it, mainly because I'm still healing from a broken ankle and won't be leaving home until the end of the month.  I'm 32 and I still suck at growing facial hair, but at least it's less patchy than it used to be.

It doesn't make much sense to me that, given that so many players who've been involved in far greater controversies than this have had no issues finding continued employment in the league, Kaepernick would be the guy they'd all band together to make an example out of.  We'll never know if he'd have found himself unemployed had he chose not to protest or draw other attention to himself (a lot of people thought Miami should've signed him instead of Cutler, but I don't think that a guy who has shown up to press conferences wearing a shirt with Che Guevara on it would warm up to Miami fans very quickly) because it all coincided.  He wanted out of San Francisco and he got out, only to find that nobody was interested in signing a guy who's basically a slightly more talented version of Taylor Martinez.

Rob is awesome.  He and I talked about the Glory days for several minutes.

For those who are curious, it happened playing disc golf, of all things.  I was out at Seymour Smith after it rained and slipped and fell down a hill.  It wasn't pretty.

I just got the Pixel XL a few months ago, so given what I paid for it, I'm locked into that one for awhile unless something happens to it.  Considering that I have countless pairs of 3.5mm headphones/earbuds, I'm a little salty that they decided to go the Apple route and get rid of the 3.5mm jack.

I don't know about you, but I'm really lookin' forward to the weekend.

I've had a few phones that I had an Otterbox case for. Never had any issues with any of them.

Thankfully they didn't really do any permanent damage, they just ripped the center piece out and left it wedged against the shifter (pain in the butt to get it back in place, but it wasn't damaged). I noticed the other day that the top of the piece was popped out, so I wonder if they didn't try it another time and get spooked. Probably somebody in this apartment complex.

I pay literally zero attention to our basketball program, and I highly doubt I'm the only one on this message board that can say that.

I'd like to think that Patrick O'Brien will be able to come in and play at the same level as TA right away, but that may not be the case. As much as it pains me to say it, we might have to endure another season with TA at the helm just so O'Brien can learn the offense.

I've seen a lot of people on Facebook posting that they're glad Iowa lost last night, and our own fans are commenting on those posts reminding us that Iowa beat us and we went 5-7 this year. It's like some of our own fans are taking every opportunity they can to talk negatively about the Huskers.
