    2020 Final Team Ranking Prediction

With a smaller class, I would be shocked if it finished in the top 15.... I'll say #19

    2019 Spring Game - April 13 @ 1:00 CDT on BTN

Tiger is in contention at the Masters, that's my reasoning anyhow.... I watch Brady Belt and Co. tonight on DVR, though.

I didn't feel uncomfortable either. I felt watched, and a little unwelcomed.... But it wasn't a big deal, no.

Chicken & Waffles are a fantastic combination. I can see this, yes.

    Racism - It's a real thing.

Suspicions aren't going away anytime soon, and anybody who looks different than the majority in any given area will face them (try stopping in a Chicken & Waffles joint in Birmingham, Alabama, as a white person.... it's....interesting). As for the Daily Show.... I don't know. I have a real hard time believing that, and it could easily be staged. Wouldn't be the first time a television show was used to push a narrative. It's obviously a small sample size, but in my little neck of the woods, I just don't see that sort of behavior towards black people, or Hispanics. And I live in a rural, majority white, area of the country.

They also benefit from at least a few things because they're black. A black guy walks into a general store in a suit and tie, and you think he's consistently followed around the store? I highly doubt it. Now a black guy (or white, or brown, etc) walks into a store dressed like a thug? I'll buy that. Except that I believe it has more to do with their appearance reflecting their social class, fair or not. (the way they are dressed, etc). It's pretty easy to tell what "class" an individual (any color) comes from after a few moments of observation. It isn't fool proof, obviously....

And most black people aren't having a tough time, because they're black.... I do agree with your larger point, it's less about the color of your skin, and more about the "class" you were born into.

Well it's a good thing he has some of the best basketball facilities in the country to help him sell it.

Get lost in this for a few minutes! Take in the exotic harmonies of our beloved Athletic Director.....
  14. We can dream right? (Or maybe it's possible?!!!!) I voted for "Sweet 16", and "three years". I think that would be plenty of time to get the players he wants into his program, and develop the culture he wants inside the walls. I considered voting for "two years", because turnarounds can happen much quicker in basketball. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they made the tournament next year if Roby, Allen, and the current commits hang around (assuming he'd bring in some JUCO help immediately). I don't think I've ever been so excited for Nebrasketball. I don't know that I'm on the "Jack Mitchell" level of Nebrasketball fandom, but I've always felt like me and my dad have followed it closer than most Husker fans. There have been way too many lows, and I'm excited that the payoff looks to be within reach for the fan base. How sweet would it be if the football, and basketball programs took off at the same time? I can't wait for the two programs to prove national pundits wrong on what our university, and state are capable of in college athletics, in the new millennium. GBR!!!!

    University of Nebraska President rumors

I agree. I lean pretty conservative, and I can tell you for a fact that most conservatives hate Obamacare, because they think they're supposed too. I've asked members of my family (Trump supporters) why they take issue with it, and they never have a good answer. Like I've said a couple times already, it looks like it may be okay. I sure hope it turns out that way. My main concern is what anyone should worry about when the government is involved with healthcare, will they delay/deny coverage on procedures that my doctors see as necessary.
