Well that's outstanding. Haven't stopped in much lately, whats with the "hawkeye" girl? I sat next to a very cute Hawkeye fan last November. The row was packed and she was literally half in my lap until the Iowegians started leaving in the second half. I had no complaints.

He ISNT done with football and has a team or two in mind! Nebraska is a great school and has a great team and is for some guys but not for Tyler. His dream is to play for the Steelers or an NFL team someday and Lord willing he is going to make his dream come true. If Sam Keller wasn't so infatuated with getting his coke buddies the ball and threw it to, who I believed to be, our most talented receiver that season Mo would probably be in the league. It's a shame it took Ganz coming in and not playing favorites for Mo to shine. Mo got his shot in the league didn't he?, With the Bengals? Count me as a guy who found Purify to be overcelebrated by most Husker fans. I was never that impressed with him. He was an ok WR (especially by Nebraska's standards).

For the sake of playing along.... If he was in fact dropping to our second string on the oline, and he wasn't happy about it (to this extent), then he would have become a cancer to the team, right? So wouldn't we all rather see the 2nd string olineman walk away from the team rather then taking up a schollie?

Outside perspective? The BTN isn't going to trash Nebraska's team.... They are there to pump your ass full of sunshine, and optimism.... AND I APPRECIATE IT!!

Lets see....Papuchis coached defense ends when he got here. As you mentioned...they've been pretty bad over the last 4 years. Then he coached the entire defensive line last year. I think we can all agree it was probably the worst DL since Bo has been here. Now he's our defensive coordinator. This should get interesting. Is this sarcasm? Maybe, maybe not.... Either way I feel its important to point out that Papuchis is widely regarded as one of the brightest young minds in football. If the defensive guru, Bo Pelini thinks he is good enough to be DC, then thats good enough for me, and should be good enough for everyone else in HuskerNation.... I won't argue that the DE play has been poor as of late, but we don't seem to have the necessary athletes at that position anyways. Meredith, and Ankrah are big dudes, and look like they could easily play inside.

???? Bo Pelini is very capable of having a team win less then nine games (He is no Tom Osborne).... Having said that, I disagree with Knap, and the others suggesting that we might have less then nine wins this coming season. Even with the loss of playmakers on defense, I believe that we should be better on that side of the ball, given the gained experience that the young guys got last year. Bo's confidence also gives me reason for optimisim. The offense should almost definitely be improved, right? The second year in a new system should prove to make the offense more productive, not to mention our leader (Martinez) has put in the work this offseason, moreso then I would have ever expected him too. Last point, I don't think that difficulties of the first year in a new conference can be underestimated, the coaches, and players should be much more prepared for the upcoming season.... May optimism, and common sense (HuskerMoon) reign!!

I understand the comparisons between Rex, and Ball, because they are both outstanding backs that bring a lot to (if not carry) their teams....However, I don't understand how Rittenburg comes to the conclusion that Silas Redd and Burkhead "were close for the #2 spot" on his list.... That makes no sense....

Bo can recruit. Bo can develop talent. Why are we a championship or bust fanbase? Try to enjoy the progress the program has made.... The Future at NU is bright, can that be (legitimately) argued?

funny the guys on 247 are hearing a rumor that he is leaning towards UW, something about how they can coach QBs better then we can making the Wilson vs Tmart comparison. Smart angle but i think the rumor is false.....especailly when Pauly is happy. It would seem to me that Wilson was the exception for Wisconsin last year. Wilson was the first good qb that the cheeseheads have in a long time.... They run the ball very well up there, and they won't gravitate to far from what they have always done well....So, Wilson would be the exception. Having said that, there is no reason to believe that NU's staff can develop a QB either.... Just commit to NU!!

Offensive line is ranked too high, Defensive line, and WR's are ranked too low.... We return the same DLine as we had the last half of last season, that should get us better then 7th.... And based on potential alone or WR's should be higher then 9th....Martinez didnt do our Wideouts any favors, hopefully that footwork, and release point of the ball can change that for Martinez....

From personal experience; that doesn't leave much room for other programming. I have every Nebraska win from last season and the Northwestern game and the bowl game, plus the classic games they showed on BTN last July, like the 1997 championship, the Miami game, etc. I think I have a total of ten games, plus about a week's worth of Daily Show, Colbert, Tosh.0 and The Soup. You need to get a bigger DVR! Knapp, we have an incredibly similar taste in television shows...QUICK, What am I (or we) watching now?

Corn Helmet = AWESOME Do you think 18-22 year old kids would want that on their head.... I don't know if kids pick schools because of nice football uniforms/helmets, but I do know that uniforms/helmets with corn on it would help make their decision for them..... Put the Blackshirt symbol on there, that is AWESOME!

The one on the left is sweet. The corn helmet is kind of like Maryland's unis - the idea seems like it should be a good one but the execution of the idea is terrible. Maryland's uniforms/helmets are lightyears better then any of these.... The corn helmet is just awful, and we can never do the "pro combat" think because somehow the corn would get in there.... That would be an embarassment to NU..... The nickname "CornHuskers" is great, but the corn on the head should stay in the stands....

Thats kind of you, but I dont Pelini has earned it yet.... You'd have to go through a couple of "Bo's" who have had more impact on Big Ten athletics before you got to Pelini. Ah Sarcasm....

I dont think so.... Both of NYG's corners are healthy, but he should see significant playing time given the multiple WR sets N.E. runs....
