    Change up in the question: Did your parents know you were drinking in college? I like to think my parents didn't know but I also know they aren't stupid about what goes on even though nether of them attended college.

      It was common among our baseball team in college that when a kids parents showed up for a weekend the parents came to the baseball house and hung out with everyone. Maybe not the best idea looking back but it was fun at the time.

    Anyone ever had TFCC surgery in their wrist? I have a torn tendon/ligament/somthing in the TFCC. Had been getting cortisone shots the last couple years, but doc said it time to operate.

      There are some nasty injuries in slow pitch. Generally less athletic people trying to make specialized athletic movements doesn't end well at times.

    Having rotary cuff surgery tomorrow at 9. I think it will be fine.

      Good luck. Had 2 shoulder surgeries in a 2.5 year time frame. Same shoulder. You never realized how much you need 2 arms for things until you can only use one. Once your through the first week its all downhill from there.

      I agree with what you're saying NUance. But at the same time he's a college student who keeps an eye on social issues. Do we want to tell him you can do that later and focus on football? That to me doesn't seem right either.

    Anyone else hit up Omaha sports bars for a Husker game this year? I did Tanners for the first game and it was kind of dead. Had a buddy that went there for the Oregon game and said he was surprised how dead it was.

    402 shot and killed in Chicago so far in 2015. Why no protests before this? Didn't those other lives matter too?

      Really sad and eye opening as well. Spent some time in areas real close to a lot of blue dots on that map. Just never know what can happen. Unfortunate for the families of those victims.

    Mizzou protestors are upset that Paris is getting more media coverage than they are. Probably helps when the media is actually allowed to cover the situation. Not to mention, 150 people were murdered.

    Adopted a dog from the Humane Society yesterday. Missed having a 4 legged friend to do stuff with.

      Nuance its actually a lab/beagle mix. Not exactly sure how much beagle is in him though. Looks like a damn mini lab basically. And its funny you mention that she barks. We've had him for over a day and i haven't heard him bark once. Only sound he's made is when he pouted that he didnt want to be in his kennel last night.

      Never thought in my life I would adopt one from a shelter. Just couldn't let this guy stay there any longer. Sad to hear that darkhorse. I'll be there with you soon as my parents dog that we've had since i was in 6th grade (I'm now 27) is getting to the point where we need to put him down. Wont be an easy day.

    Halloween Costume Ideas: I am thinking of possibly being a 1980's gym teacher/coach. The tight short BIKE shorts (or Riddell) with a tight V-neck Tshirt and a whistle, with some long tube socks with two stripes.
