captain obvious
I am down with this. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
Guys, we established that he was not a great fit for Nebraska - does not mean he will not fit in beautifully with the Chiefs. guy knows his x's and o's. Agreed. That dude has forgotten more about football than most of us will ever know about it. His system would actually fit great with Croyle and 2 big targets in Gonzalez and Bowe. Obviously they have 2 viable RBs to open up the running game. Go Giants. Yeah, because we utilized our TE's so well while he was here. Quote Link to comment
bethelbacker
As long as he's just a coordinator, I don't see a problem. It's when he's in charge that things fall apart. Quote Link to comment
hastingshusker
It will be interesting to see two men who CANNOT manage games well coexist. I think it would be a good fit...but is he going to like still being in the midwest? I mean we don't have real papers here or anything. And aren't Chiefs fans in KC just as passionate as Husker fans in Lincoln? Could be interesting. Quote Link to comment

Besides, I wouldn't classify Tony G. as a 'classic' TE. Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
Bill Who? Yeah..................................never heard of him!? All would be right in the world if he went to KC. Broncos fan?? No Steelers fan, but have a brother that's an KC fan. Quote Link to comment

I agree since Herm is the one that said the phrase "You play to win the game" and Callahan most times tried not to lose by to much. Neither coach was very good at either one. They are friends supposedly. Quote Link to comment
Bleeding Husker Red
At least he won't be running The Huskers. He can go to any NFL team but the Packers. No ruining my beloved Packers! Quote Link to comment
treeeman
Herm's Terms require a O/C who wants to build a run offense. Herm stated that the O/C must adapt the plan to the personnel. Not exactly the clownahan way Quote Link to comment
Cali Sker (in Boston)
I've always felt the ideal job for him is an OC in the NFL. He knows his football, his business-like, corporate manner wouldn't be such a bad fit in the NFL, if his team quits on him the HC can help sort it out, and as an OC he wouldn't have to do anything on defense, which he seems to just ignore anyways. admo
Interesting. I would not rush into that job. KC will not make playoffs next year & Herm will be shown the door. So basically, it's a one year take the money and run job. Quote Link to comment
kc_husker
In todays paper they listed some people for the job and Billy C was not one of them. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
OH MY!!!!! Wake me up when it is over. Quote Link to comment

Hunter94
i don't think he would be a good fit in KC at all. Quote Link to comment
