BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
This would allow Grixby to prove himself and show whether he has turned things around. As stated: win-win. Quote Link to comment
jjamuss
He will likely follow his brothers footsteps and come to Nebraska... I think he would make an excellent DB with his speed. Couple that with Pelini's coaching and it should be a slam dunk! Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
i don't think i could stand another undersized DB playing again, although Grix got better last year, his size hurt him the whole time he was in the secondary, leaping ability or not. Quote Link to comment
gmoney88
Looks like they just offered grixby a scholly...according to huskersillustrated.com Quote Link to comment

I agree 100%. I couldn't stand the idea of a 5'9" DB getting outjumped again and again. Put the ball in this guy's hands and let's see what he can do with it, instead of putting him in a position where he doesn't have a shot a greatness. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
Looks like they just offered grixby a scholly...according to huskersillustrated.com seems odd we would do that so soon, based on some of the things reported regarding his behavior last season? hell, who knows.....but this makes me nervous! All of this hating on Courtney because he is short is "Dee Dee Dee", Yes he is short, and yes he has been our best DB for the last few years. Quote Link to comment
