Street Novelist
Is it the down-to-earth graciousness Nebraskans possess? kindness? willingness to help others? Is it because they aren't about flash and pizazz, but dedication and hard work? Why do commentators like Kirk Herbstreit have such contempt for a state that has done nothing to them? I would love to know. Quote Link to comment

BIGREDIOWAN
I really don't care what Kirk and ESPN think about my team. I can form my own opinion without needing their input. Quote Link to comment
huskerpilot
well...despite the fact that everyone here seems to think your idea is stupid...I agree with you, espn has pretty much treated us like crap. But I don't think we should do anything about it except win some national championships. They can't argue with trophies. GBR Quote Link to comment
skersfan
Herbstreit had a fit over the all Nebraska playoff. It was a little questionable even being a Husker fan. Overall they say pretty much what is the truth, their oppinion. And as much as I hate to say it they are normally pretty close to right. I see no hate from ESPN. Just honesty that we do not want to hear. Quote Link to comment
