hoyamannn
He told Sean Callahan he's 90% certain he's going to sign with the Big Red. Quote Link to comment
joshuavacek
Boy, we have never had this problem before. Too many good QB's. Who to play??Who to play??? This is a good problem to have. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Oklahoma has just offered Josh Freeman. Odds of being a Husker just went down. That doesn't mean we have no chance, but instead of say....75% maybe now 40-50% until things shake out Quote Link to comment
DaveH
Huskers go after Freeman OWH requires registration now. It's free and probably a good idea for Husker fan's. Quote Link to comment

oviedol55
90% chance on Freeman, that's what he gave us after the spring game and the Oklahoma offer won't change that. Marlon Lucky talks to him a lot and posts on HuskersIllustrated.com, and let's just say it's looking great for Josh and Meno Holt. In fact, Meno posted on there the other day. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Freeman is considering graduating high school in December and enrolling at a college in January so he can compete in spring practice. Several quarterbacks in recent years, including former Nebraska quarterback Curt Dukes, have done the same. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
That would be sweet! Is he expected to commit to NU any time soon? Maybe after QB camp? Quote Link to comment
kc_husker
What I have heard is we are the front runner of Michigan and Missouri. More schools are starting to make offers at this kid. Its going to be tough. Quote Link to comment
Steve
I wish this kid would hurry up and commit. Once Josh comes through the rest of our recruiting class will fall into place. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
i could be wrong, but i don't see freeman coming to NU.......afterall, how much playing time could he expect to see with taylor and beck here? just doesn't make sense to me.....but who knows? hunter Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
He said he was 90% sure, he has camped here and will again, and taylor is only here for two years, and what top notch program doesnt have at least a couple of heralded quarterbacks. He will be N. Quote Link to comment

Why can't Nebraska get a few top notch QB's? I mean, USC brought in Mark Sanchez with Matt Leinart, Rocky Hinds and John David Booty already in the fold. Those three were as highly touted as you can get. Why is it beyond Nebraska to be like them? To build a juggernaut, you have to become and think like the juggernaut. I've been watching Star Wars too much. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Freeman still has NU as his number 1, but with other schools in the picture, this lead is becoming tighter. Quote Link to comment
