zoogs
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ...udgments/1.html -- The Jets believe new offensive line coach/assistant head coach Bill Callahan is going to make for a significant upgrade up front. The ex-Raiders and ex-Nebraska head coach is as meticulous in his preparation and teaching as ever. Say all you want about Callahan. He was a poor fit in ways for our program, but he's still a good coach. Quote Link to comment

BIGREDIOWAN
Offensive genius, horrible head coach. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
The guy really pissed me off with his tactics at the end but he knew he was going to get canned. I dont know many people that KNOW that their getting fired no matter what that put much effort fourth. Lets just all be thankful he is gone and look to the future. Quote Link to comment

He may know his X's and O's on paper, but he can't seem to get it to work on the field nor relate it to his players. Quote Link to comment

Can write fairly well for other commedians, but can't deliver (or be funny) on their own. Quote Link to comment

HUSKER 37
I was a little afraid if I used the Conan reference, this thread might go on a tangent.. Just never met anyone b4, who thought he was funny. I can fill pages (and have) of funny quotes by Steven Wright or Larry the guy who installs Cable, but I can't think of one time I laughed at the Barbarian. Although when he was 1st introduced, I almost laughed...thought they were pulling my Lariat by having a real person dress up like Howdy Doody and pass him off as Dave's replacement. HuskerTrucker
He is right for the pros...wrong for any place in college football except may some place like USC (you know Hollywood)...and I don't think BC knew defense worth a turds weight. Quote Link to comment
