WIHusker
So I walk by Memorial every day to go home, and today I was walking by and noticed that the scoreboard still had the score from Saturday on it. Said Huskers 30, Hokies 35. Don't know if it was intentional or not, just thought I'd let you all know. Also practice looked pretty intense today. Quote Link to comment

BIGREDIOWAN
Good idea on the staff's part if that indeed was the intention. Quote Link to comment
Dirt Bag
I think that score should stay on the score board until the fist MU Tiger steps on to OUR field Saturday night. Good motivation I think. Keep in mind it was the coaching staff's first big game. Now for the negative part of this post: Larry Asante......I'll leave it at that. GBR Quote Link to comment

Did you happen to notice if VT receivers were still running wide open all over the field? Quote Link to comment
admo
That -- is -- awesome. I thought right after Pelini got flagged that practices would be killer. Not a happy camper. These dudes may just do execution drills over and over until they vomit with exucation. Quote Link to comment
melscott62
I have seen my brother (hs BB coach) have a week of practice with the score of a game from the year before on the scoreboard the whole week....during school and everything. I'd say it worked pretty well. If I were bo I would do that during the KU week Quote Link to comment

I'd say it worked pretty well. If I were bo I would do that during the KU week I would say last year's MU score would serve as more motivation than last week's score. We need to put last week and our almost victory behind us. Needless to say I like the thinking. Quote Link to comment
motorboatjonesNU
In 1994 during fall camp (and probably spring ball), the scoreboard always showed 1:16 left on the clock -- which was how much time was left when NU took the lead in '94 Orange Bowl vs. FSU 16-15. 1:16 - edited. Captain K
Guess Bo isn't worried about his carbon footprint. Al Gore for next coach at NU! Here, I'll save you the trouble. WTF? Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
Good motivational tool there by Bo if it was on purpose. I had the idea this morning of maybe bringing in guys like Jason Peter and Grant Wistrom to talk to the guys this week to get them excited. Quote Link to comment
