shagg
of all the freshmen that didn't play this year, who do we see as making an impact for next year?..like to know what you guys think Quote Link to comment
husker B-rent
Compton- i think he comes in and has an immediate impact on the linebacking corps. he will have had a year to learn the schemes and from what i hear he is really showing his stuff so far this year in practice. i am very excited about him and fischer (although he has already played). good times are ahead fellas. gmoney88
I've heard that Kyler Reed has looked impressive in practice. I think he could come in and be a player for us. Quote Link to comment
bbhusker
Mason Wald, being the ball seeking missile he is. Quote Link to comment

Yeah but he is playing behind Dillard. I don't see him supplanting Dillard next year, and if this year is any indication the back ups aren't coming in a lot at LB. Could just be the coaches building depth, but also could be philosophy about keeping starters in. Quote Link to comment

melscott62
Baker Steinkuehler. I doubt we have a more talented athlete on our roster Quote Link to comment
Huskerballz
Baker Steinkuehler. I doubt we have a more talented athlete on our roster I've heard he's been somewhat disappointing. Has the injury bug and the work ethic isn't to where it need to be. Quote Link to comment

Sker4Ever
I think I would have to say Khiry Cooper. This kid seems to be a complete athletic 'freak'. Quote Link to comment
admo
The potential is there. Also keep in mind that the majority of the secondary will all have one or two more years in the system. They can keep fighting to learn & get better, or whizz it away. I cross my fingers that they will be very good & improved. Quote Link to comment
SODAKSKERSFAN20
I will throw out a True freshmen even though this is for our redshirts. I could see Chris Williams playing an OLB position for us. Both of our starters are seniors this year and the kid just makes plays. To get 5A Defensive Player of the Year you have to know how to make plays. The guy is gifted. Now he just needs to stay with his words.. ( I feel LSU coming) Quote Link to comment
BOBELIEVER
i'm looking forward to Compton, Josh Williams, and hopefully Chris Williams Quote Link to comment
