WVhuskerXX
The Blackshirts were given out today at practice reported 1620 .......thoughts? 11 were handed out.... http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SP...;ATCLID=1622814 Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Do not agree with it. Besides Suh, Potter, Murillo and possibly Glenn, no other guys have really stood out and shown they have earned them. Although I will admit I have not seen the entire list of who got their Blackshirt today. But if Asante, O'Hanlon, West or Thenarse got one then this is a complete joke. EDIT: I need to read the link. Complete joke that Asante and West got a Blackshirt. Those may be two of the last guys who deserved them on this defense. Especially West considering Reesing picked on him constantly and racked up huge yardage against him in just our last game. Quote Link to comment
WVhuskerXX
Asante and West got their Blackshirts, O'hanlon and Thenarse didn't Quote Link to comment
Army Husker
In total, 11 Blackshirts were handed out to: Pierre Allen, Larry Asante, Phillip Dillard, Eric Hagg, Armando Murillo, Zach Potter, Ty Steinkuhler, Clayton Sievers, Ndamukong Suh, Anthony West and Tyler Wortman. HuskerRob
this may sound bad...but am i the only one who is pleased to see that o'hanlon didnt get one? Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
I think the timing is good. KSUCC could be just the trap game we need to avoid. A sobering moment like finally winning back the blackshirts should make this defense very aware of themselves. Might have been a bit better after our little "three game season" was over, motivation for the bowl game, but I'll take it. Hope it doesn't blow up in Bo's face. Quote Link to comment
clone
cool. BO knows football. Quote Link to comment

teamster
The traditional 'placed them in their lockers' was a nice touch (or non touch). Gives a player the right environment to reflect on the accomplishment. Quote Link to comment

hosker
i was wanting the D to hold our opponent to minimal pts before the blackshirts were handed out, but maybe a good D performance(minimal pts) is best saved for the game after they were handed out!! Quote Link to comment
