junior4949
I'm assuming 3 teams in the south for their tie and 2 teams in the north for their tie? Quote Link to comment
sthusker
if we get a co north champ then the south would have to get tri-champs right? Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Whether it is a trophy, plaque or banner that appears to be correct. Quote Link to comment
Husker Runner
it looks like 5 of the big 12 teams will get a Trophy A Runza would taste better, though. Quote Link to comment
macroboy
We shouldn't get one. Mizzou killed us. Quote Link to comment
TheKiD
Big 12 was so stacked this year.. going 8-4 looks even better at the end of the season. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
it looks like 5 of the big 12 teams will get a Trophy No. One team should get one trophy and another gets 2. None of this Co-North/South Championship crap. The B12 is already being heavily scrutinized about it's tiebreaking methods. Quote Link to comment
caveman99
We shouldn't get one. Mizzou killed us. So should TT not get one because they got blown out by OU? Mizzou gets their prize, they get to attend the Championship game. NU and MU finished at a tie, MU goes because of a TIEBREAKER. Quote Link to comment
papersun87
Whether it is a trophy, plaque or banner that appears to be correct. "'You're the top salesman this year? Wow! Here's a plaque! Wow! Another year has gone by, and you're still the top salesman? Here is a certificate!' They stopped making plaques that year." Quote Link to comment

HUSKER FREAK
It sounds like field day at the elementary schools where everyone gets a ribbon for participating. IMO the only question mark should be TU and OU, although I think we would be able to hang with Mizzou now, we still would probably lose. TT would lose again to OU and probably to TU in a rematch but that's all speculation. Quote Link to comment

None of this Co-North/South Championship crap. The B12 is already being heavily scrutinized about it's tiebreaking methods. I have no problem with the tiebreaking methods. Mizzou gets the nod over us because they won the head to head. Down in the South, what would be a fairer tiebreaking method than using the final BCS standings? If you choose a common opponent they all 3 played, that could be skewed by the team they pick. I think it's fair the way it is now. I also believe that OU is the best team in the South much to the dismay of Texass fans. I bet the biggest Mizzou fans right now can be found within the borders of Texas. What are the odds if OU wins the NC game that we have a co-NC with Texas being the other? Quote Link to comment
