May come back? Allen didn't qualify Barrett is technically on the team but has been in the doghouse all year. Haines got buried on the depthchart. Jensen Johnson - AKA the "Beast" was highly overrated and never got off the scout team. Martin is here, he's fourth or fifth on the depth. Nicks is in the NFL yes, he's a Saint. Smith is an OLineman now Spain was lazy and didn't want to compete, quit. Young left the team. Quote Link to comment

Everywhere you see "graduated" in these posts, replace that with "exhausted eligibility" and I think you'll be satisfied. Nebraska does graduate football players at a much higher rate than most other big time programs: http://stanford.scout.com/2/618619.html http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB...;ATCLID=1604027 http://www.giveto.psu.edu/news/003824/default.aspx Compiled by Penn State from the 2006 NCAA Division I Graduation Rates Report, the figures show Coach Joe Paterno's team had the seventh-highest graduation rate overall among all of the nation's 119 Division I-A programs, including the best among Big Ten Conference institutions. Kent State (86 percent) and Nebraska (84 percent) were the only public institutions with a rate higher than Penn State's. The Nittany Lions' 83 percent federal graduation rate also is third-highest among the 64 schools playing in a 2006-07 bowl game. Boston College (92 percent) and Nebraska were the only bowl teams with a higher graduation rate than Penn State. Quote Link to comment

Maybe I was too optimistic about the players that have exhausted eligibility. and maybe being starting center is a little more thasn being a contributor. Quote Link to comment
