Lyons in the Sea of Red.
makes me excited, i think this is the HD map http://www.hdsportsguide.com/news/2009/abc...r-september-19/ Quote Link to comment
CENTEXHUSKER
I still don't quite understand how they figure these maps out(ie, some of the state of Nebraska gets the Iowa game, some of Iowa gets the NU game).....do they just let a five year old go crazy with a paintball gun? LouisianaHusker
well, if that is the case, it looks like ESPN360 for me. Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
i dont understand why half the eastern part of US needs to see usc washington? leave it on the west coast no one cares Quote Link to comment
Huskerballz
Wait...so is the Nebraska game on HD or not? That article confused me. Quote Link to comment
carlfense
The map posted here is the HD coverage map on ABC. I believe that the Nebraska game will also be shown in standard definition on ESPN2 in the green areas on that map. Quote Link to comment
MrBumstead
well, if that is the case, it looks like ESPN360 for me. Yep, me too. One of the main reasons I pay for Comcast internet. But since my tv is hooked to my computer, it doesn't make much of a difference to me if I get it on ABC or not. Quote Link to comment

This map above is HD. This is the map for ABC. The reason why north eastern Nebraska (green area) is getting Iowa is because they are served by the Sioux City ABC affiliate. All those in the Iowa/Arizona region (Green) above will be able to see the game on ESPN2 (Standard Def channel). All those in the Nebraska/Va Tech Region (Blue) will get Iowa/Ariz on ESPN2's HD channel. Quote Link to comment
CornSyrup
I'll be watching the game on the computer again, I guess. A note to ABC/ESPN: Nobody cares about Iowa except Iowans. Quote Link to comment

If your in MN you can watch on ESPN2's standard Def channel. If you want HD then I don't know what you can do.... Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
and the West Coast gets f'd again! just like last year...If you want to see the NU/VT game, you'll have to buy it from ESPN Gameplan. Quote Link to comment
killer cacti
Well...I know what's going to be dvr'd in SC. Quote Link to comment

I'm also more than a little upset that ESPN took Monday Night Football away from me, but that's a whole 'nother rant. Quote Link to comment

It's because the Sioux City station will be fed the Iowa game, the through-the-air customers in northeast NE are closer to Siouz City than Omaha. Cable customers probably get both, if there is cable .. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
gotta love how the Miami/Ft.Lauderdale area will get the Nebraska game, but California won't...I would love for ABC to explain that one to me. Are they suggesting that more people in Miami would rather watch Nebraska than USC? How about the rest of Florida? Why do they get the USC/Washington game, but not the Miami market?
