np_husker
I'll probably be tarred & feathered for this, but here goes... MLB, PGA, and now the NFL have had "pink days" for breast cancer awareness. I think it would be cool and an amazing sight to see the Sea of Red turned pink for one game. Better a pink out than a B******. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Interesting idea. It would be for a good cause. Quote Link to comment
t_husker
yeah, you should be tarred and feathered. although, the thought was nice. Quote Link to comment
redout22
Good idea, it would be sweet if it happens but if it doesn't I can live with it. Quote Link to comment
skersfan
I think it is a great idea. No tar or feathers here my friend. As long as the money taken in for the pink shirts went to the Cancer foundation, I would endores it totally. It would be amazing and would get a tremendous amount of attention for the Univeristy. I will make a call on Monday and credit you with the idea. Maybe we could get this done. There are plenty of boosters who could afford to do it and write it off. You idea is what Nebraska is about, thinking of others and caring for them. Fantastic idea. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I've got a wife and a sister-in-law who are breast cancer survivors. I think it's a great idea. Quote Link to comment
cscott2win
The game with K State would be the perfect opportunity. With Bill Snyder and TO behind it this could really fly. Just a thought. Quote Link to comment
NshawU
I'd be all for this. I think it's a great idea. Quote Link to comment
craigsker
Aren't we the greatest fans in college football? C'mon....This is a no-brainer. Wear the pink! Quote Link to comment
Captain K
I'd certainly be more aware of breasts in general, if girls went to the game topless! The players or fans wearing pink would be ok with me. I'm for it! Quote Link to comment

Twodocs
perhaps we could paint the opponets locker room pink like they did at Iowa! Pink for cancer awareness is good but does it raise awareness and money on an NFL players shoes? Quote Link to comment

General Blackshirt
I remember Iowa State's student section had a pink-out a few years ago against Texas, maybe last year. It looked absolutely legit. The only way I think this could work if it was just a student section thing AND they passed out tshirts. There's no way the old people would wear pink to a husker game, even if the shirt was handed to them. They'd be confused as heck! Quote Link to comment
