Tiger of the Corn
Ha! Weather not a factor? Weather.com has had a flood watch up the last 24 hours and now Boone County (including Columbia) are already in a flood warning. Says 3-5 inches of rain has already fallen with 3-5 more possible?!?! 1620 radio earlier had someone report that there were already roads closed. Saying the roads are closed. Interpretation: We don't want the Nebrasky hick corn farmers in Missouri. STAY OUT. Quote Link to comment
cmb23
Bo is undefeated at Faurot Field... no he isn't. he was an assistant coach when they lost in 2003. also, everyone keeps talking about how gabbert and his receivers won't perform well in the rain. i think our receivers who continue to drop passes in good weather will have a terrible time in the rain. only if we can consistently run the football. our o-line is not that great. should be a tight one. Sarcasm...as in undefeated as head coach...as in he hasn't been the head coach there before. Reading a little too literal there. Quote Link to comment
Tiger of the Corn
oh man I forgot Mizzou had field turf, thought they still had grass Mizzou is 3-0 against the Huskers on Faurot's Field Turf. We may as well not even play the game then. What is it with all of you uptight Husker fans? Are you guys immune to humor? What I said is no worse than what Knapp and all his cronies say. Quoting stat upon stat about why the Huskers are going to beat Mizzou. (Mostly because the Bug-noshers lost to VTech on the road...please explain that one again?). Why even play the game? RELAX and have fun. Being this uptight is not good for the heart. Quote Link to comment
The Maudfather
Just talked to a lady in Columbia, MO and she basically confirmed this thread: cold and wet with lots of rain expected for the game! Dammit 8 o'clock can't get here fast enough! Quote Link to comment
