mitch7
What happened to him? I know he had an injury, but that was a while ago. Quote Link to comment
cmb23
Him, Gilleylen, Holt...haven't even played the last 5 games. Quote Link to comment
HuskerMoon
I've kind of wondered that too. I remember the World Herald writing a feel good story about Chris several years ago and he talked about how coming to Nebraska from the St. Louis had changed his life and how he and everyone else seemed to expect him to do a lot of contributing. Unfortunately I've seen him riding a lot of pine. Maybe we'll see him the next two games.. Quote Link to comment
holvy83
He was on a section of the Bo Pelini show about Senior Day and said how he would not change anything and proud to be a husker. It was good to hear, although he did not get the chance to show anything, he seemed pretty proud to wear the N on his helmet. Quote Link to comment
huskerswrkhavoc
was in a boot in class today fwiw Quote Link to comment
huskers1
Well I know for a fact that he played this last game against CU. He didn't catch a pass or even get targeted but he did play. Quote Link to comment
Husker Richard
was in a boot in class today fwiw ya, his car was parked in a handicap space in the lot right next to the stadium today. Quote Link to comment
CornHunka
I saw him play in the CU game also. I have a ton of respect for Chris Brooks. He came in with all the hype, and things may not have turned out like he (or some of us) hoped, but he's proud and will give his eye teeth for his teammates. We need more guys like Chris Brooks on this team. Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
Gilleylen and Holt were working with the Scout Team but returned to play a little bit during the KSU and CU game, but did not get thrown the ball their way a whole lot. Same goes for Brooks. I think its safe to say that our WR depth chart is something like this. Niles Paul Brandon Kinnie Khiry Cooper Chris Brooks Menelik Holt Curenski Gilleylen Wes Cammack Quote Link to comment
whateveritis1224
He hurt his back when he was just starting to become more involved in the offense (missed like 2 games because of that) and then when he got healthy we had already moved to the heavy sets that we've been running with only Paul at WR on the field. I don't think he got put in the dog house with Gilleylen and Holt, he just had crap luck with his injuries when he was finally getting some playing time. Quote Link to comment
